Autocross action ***VIDEO ADDED***

"DDY RCKT" and I represented Lateral-G at the local Autocross on Sunday. It was windy as hell, but a lot of fun to get the car out there and slice up some cones. Needless to say, the car got a lot of attention and I gave several rides to people. I'll post up video as soon as I can find the cable to rip it from the camera. In the meantime, here's some pics. Hopefully DDY RCKT will post up the ones he took as well.

Very cool. I'm glad to see another car on this site at the local autocross. Cool pictures. Maby next time figure out a way to mount the Video camera for the in-car video.

He's working on that. Just need to find someoneto make a fitted cage for his 'Bu, with harness mounts and a camera mount.

By the way, Eric (I hope I remembered right. I'm awful with names!) is an awesome dude, and that car is scary when he gets on it.

Man, I wish I'd have known you guys were going, I would have made the trip up to run with you! I ran there last year. You guys should make the trip down to Tidewater and run with us on the beach. We should start up sometime in April. There is also a cool boardwalk car show you should bring the Full Ryd down for. I may make the next VMSC auto-x, and I'm running with the NASA guys at VIR in March. How did you do on the course? Did the wind keep moving the cones around on ya! Lot's of the guys here local were complaining about the course.

Are you doing the tackdaze event, or the nasa event at the end of march at VIR?

I lost to a bunch of turbo scions. My best time was a 62.0something, down from a first run of 66.4or7something. It was my first Autocross ever, though, so I guess I can't be too unhappy. I can't say much about if the course was bad or good for the same reason, though. First one.

I'm running the Patriot Course with Tidewater Sports Car Club on March 30th. This is in conjunction with the NASA event there all weekend. We may do the Kart Enduoro on Sat night just for fun too.

This year was my first Auto-X year too, my goal for every event was to just outrun one mini and one miata! VMSC has a few clinics that you can participate in, I did one at VIR last summer and it really helped me out a bunch. Both from setting the car up and improving my seat time skills. Believe me, big heavy cars with ton's of HP are a real handful when your learning.

How's the M3 Killer coming along?

Don't want to Highjack the thread, you can PM me

FYI, VMSC schedule:

Mar 9: Autocross @ RRC
Mar 15: Rally
Apr 12-13: School & autocross @ RRC

 its good to see some muscle cars at the auto-xs.

A camera mount would be a nice addition if you plan on filming a lot.
