Project Prodigy Paint mock up
Many of you may have seen this elsewhere, but here is Prodigy in a primer coat of black single stage urethane. We ended up stripeing it and Michael and Andrew ended up zip tying, litterly, a few parts on to get a look, so a few thing are loose and crocked, LOL!. Anyway, Were diggin it!
Now to the interior fabrication on the hard convertible boot, console, water fall and dash. |
Wow Frank, that's looking awesome!
|
Slow posting over here are we Frank? That thing is just too cool not to show off.
Mike |
Gonna be sweet!

I want your car. :)

the pipes are too slick. Looks like that's where they should have been back in '67.

Today 02:24 PM Exactly! Touch's like that make a car stand out, though it's not obvious. It just makes you think, "hey that's the way it should have been done at the factory"! |
Frank, you've got to be one proud pappa. :D The car looks amazing. Any estimate on a completion date?
|
You should have sent me THAT pic.. with the kids in front of the painted car..
Oh well.. sure does look good. Hey, I got a call from a guy at Wilwood checking up on who you are. He didn't understand that you are a REAL shop doing this and thought it was just an 18 year old kid in his garage.. I put in a good word for ya.. Car is gonna be sweet when it's done. |
Looks REAL good Frank!! Tell Mike to get over the shyness and start posting...he has one sweet car!!!
And thanks again for the parts!!! ;) |
Thanks everyone,
Completion date is late September, Early October as it will need to be in the trailer and on the road by October 25 or so, but probably will not drive it until the day after SEMA. We are going to The valley of Fire in Vegas as soon as we get that sucker out of SEMA for a photo shoot (hoping I can get Steve out there) and initial thrashing. But I want to be safe and wait until after the show in case we get a little stupid! Steve, thanks alot. Amoung other things, I am talking with them about us making some custom brackets for big brakes for Prodigy, and then to sell those as kits. Everything looks real good right now. Also, just got my PHR today. That was a pretty car you sold. Have not had a chance to read the article yet, but am looking forward to it. Here are a couple pics of Valley of Fire. There are some awesome twisting roads in here, I think it will make a great photo spot at dusk, parking lights on, twinting road in the background. |
Nice roads, just keep it off the rocks! They aren't as forgiving as Florida sand!
|
Beautiful car!!
|
I like
I like what I see and can't wait for the finished product. I am digging the wheels. Who makes those?
|
Those are Forgelines (forgeline.com). I am a dealer, look for a GP soon.
|
Frank-
Amazing work you do there. If you need anything for the car while @ SEMA my shop and lift are at your disposal. Tyler |
God forbid if it needs any work when we get out there, but ya never know! Your offer is greatly appreciated.
