Shifter handle for Pro 5.0

I am looking for a different shift lever for my T56 Pro 5.0. The stock lever is straight. I would like to find one with a slight rearward bend, maybe an inch or two.

What do you guys have??

Yeah I know Steevo. I am not in love with the ball, and I was hoping to spend less than half of that.

Thanks for the reply though. Keep 'em coming.

Like the one in Penny?

i agree i was not in love with the ball either until i felt it, its fit the hand perfect, make you feel like you have a hold of something

Have you looked at what Lokar has?

Are you talking about a shifter? :_paranoid

68protouring454 03-08-2008 10:47 AM

lmao, yup i'm talking about the shifter... you need to feel one in your hand.

Steve Chryssos 03-08-2008 02:59 PM

Jeff,
Let's try something new. Since you're already a customer, I will send you out a stick or two to test fit--no charge. I'll send a UPS call tag for one or both sticks after the outcome, so there's no risk to you other than a little wrench time. All you have to do is report back here with your 100% honest opinion. Love it or hate it--don't hold back at all. If you hate it, be blunt.

It's easy enough to just line up existing customers who can post their "Oohs and ahhs". But instead, let's see what happens if a skeptic does a detailed product review. Our ProStyle™ sticks offer real world benefits that are not immediately evident. To the casual observer, it's just a stick. But we genuinely set out to improve your driving experience with this product. There is really no way convey that message with a 400 pixel image. So let's see if you agree after installing it and grabbing it. I've got more than a hundred of these things in stock, so I'm really laying it on the line here. :_paranoid

Should be fun....

That's a great offer/idea Steve!

Thanks. It may also be a really, really dumb idea.

Well lets hope not! ;)

Van B 03-08-2008 03:49 PM

How can I say no to that? I will PM you, to make sure if you still have my address on file. I was going to ask you a similar question, surprisingly.

Thanks. We have great confidence in these sticks. I know that we just need to raise awareness. Most enthusiasts are converting muscle cars with side mount shifters into pro-touring cars with top mount shifters. Stick ergonomics are a bigger issue than most people think. Unless someone has flippers instead of arms, our adjustable sticks can put the ball right where you want it. They are adjustable to any of seven positions.

Van B 03-09-2008 05:26 PM

Steevo,

One small speed bump in holding up my end of the deal. My car is apart right now and getting ready to send to the bead blaster. It will be a couple of months before the engine and trans are back in for me to check out how the shifter feels.

If the offer is good with a month or two delay, I would like to take you up on it.

Thanks.

Steve Chryssos 03-10-2008 10:28 AM

Lemme know when you're ready
