Hey guys, MaxChevy.com has done another feature on II Much. If you aren't already sick of the car, here's a link:
http://www.maxchevy.com/features/car...-badass-1.html This feature has some nice photos of the underside. We shot them at Mike Norris's place on his dyno lift. jp |

J,
what did that thing end up weighing ? (Did it have a cage, I can't remember) You're like me, after building your own car that GTM is looking pretty good ! |

The car came in at 3300 lbs. Pretty beefy. I'm blaming the interior guy, lol.
And yes, it has a cage. The GTM looks like a bunch of cool smaller fab jobs, followed by driving around in a mid-engined 5 speed track warrior that can be driven anywhere. At least, that's the plan. :) jp |
Spoken like a true hot rod junkie. "The next one will be easier, cheaper, better..."

3300 lbs is excellent - People throw around car weights a lot, but anything lightweight is almost always more race than street. I'll be pleased as punch if I come in at 3300 lbs, and that's with honeycomb floors and firewall and a constant emphasis on weight, albeit TT adds 80 lbs. Real steel and real glass adds up as do strong drivetrains. |
Inspirational. And another great read.
John, you've pushed me to learn to weld! |
Do I need help if I say, 'I Love That Car!?'
