What are your plans for the car when complete, Charlie? |
 WOW is all I got WOW

Charlie e-mailed me a little tech info tonight:
It has a 732 hp 358 cid Roush Winston Cup motor and a clutchless 4 speed. A 9" Winston Cup rear with 4:11 gears and a locker. A 3 link rear with coilovers front and rear. Wilwood 6 piston brakes, 315s and 335s on 17 x11 and 17x12 three piece wheels. How cool is that!?!? |

Is it being built to race competitivly somewhere? Or just to have the meanest stang around!

Cool car Charlie, should be quite a ride when finished, and a great addition to the site, I don't know if I am ready for it though, as I still haven't gotten over how cool the Fairlane is yet! :)

First post!
Wow. The first thing I thought after I tucked my tongue back into my head was..I doubt it has much of a turning radius...then I noticed the Fairlane was done in much the same fashion. Does the suspension geometry actually allow SOME kind of turning radius for real world driving - or is it a 3 point turn everywhere you go?
Im getting ready to start a fastback project myself and thought maybe a mustang version of bigredcamaro would be in order (bigbluemustang).. but I want a car I can take out on weekends, drive to local spots and such, so it needs to be a little civil in the suspension setup. How does Charlies suspension work on the street? Thanks! Jeff |
turning radius? who needs it... 700+ hp means you can throttle steer it in tight areas :D

I'm interested to see the finished fender on the car and the wheel at full lock. I guess thats the other trick though - will the front fenders be flared as well? Jeff |
