DRJDVM's '69...
 

Just had to join in the fun !!!

So here's my '69 Camaro..... my baby...
Bought it in Sept 2001 as a complete plain jane POS, but it ran and had minimal rust. SInce then, I've torn the entire car apart and changed just about every nut and bolt on the thing. I had originally planned on just building a decnt driver, but quickly caught the bug ( I BLAME ALL OF YOU !!!!!!) and the ball just started to roll. I ended up spending about 10x what I had originally planned !!! I stopped counting after awhile....

Dodge 2002 truck red with white stripes

Of course the car is never complete.... thinking of going supercharged next !!!!

If any of you guys know how to set up the pix like some of the other threads, that would be awesome.....

I couldnt figure out how to directly attach the photos.... the other way is much better than the way I ended up linking the pix I had....

It appears that Yahoo does not allow direct linking, so you'll have to use the links you've posted. Some host sites are that way.

Yes!! That is my favorite car...DRJDVM's car just settled my bebate over red or not. Remeber I emailed you about that dodge truck red? I went with viper and pearl stripes, but I still love the look of your car and those wheels are amazing.
Nice to see your still going at it...supercharged! Keep us posted, and update that Yahoo site more, I check in pretty often lol, been a couple months I think since something new.

What kind of wheels are those? They look like the Bonspeed's I plan to use. They look great on your 69.

Not to butt in for Ned, but they are bonspeed, and as I recall he got a one off set that hadnt been named yet. There are a few bonspeed wheels that look like em. I love those too. Just throwing that in, I am sure he can give you a better name for em.

When I bought them, they were only the second set made and hadnt been named yet..... they are now called Bonspeed Delta's....

I love the before and after pic..very cool! Beautiful car!

I looked at those but decided on the Crokus. Now I am not sure what I am going to do because they don't offer 19's.

Very nice looking car.. you have done alot with it. You car makes a good arguement for red and white. Right no I am stuck between red and white, red and black, or even red and a dark grey.

Red and white! I am biased though. :D I went with pearl white, gives it a nice silver look pending the light.

Very nice red, great job Ned. I spoke to you at the last goodguys show I asked you it it was mini tubbed. Love the baby seat BTW. I bet the poeple you bought it from would not even recognize it now.

Manteca, eh? Maybe I'll see you out at Perko's next year, I make the 15 minute drive south for it usually twice a month. Might have also seen you before. Looks great! :)

Every red 69 I see with white stripes makes me think more and more of going with that color combo over my original plan of yellow / black.... Very good looking car!!

Damn Ned, I never even looked at this thread till just now. Damn nice car there. I was there with Vince last month. I really liked your car. We gotta get some of the Nor Cal boys together one of these days.

Duuuuddde. Those wheels fricken ROCK. I really like the stance of the car, very sharp.

Viewing the stuff on this website is going to make me have to take out a bank loan !!! The bar just keeps getting higher and higher !!!!! I cant keep up.....or afford to keep up.....

Since I have spent the entire week looking for a good stereo setup online, I gotta ask what you chose for a system, headunit and speakers?

Your car looks awesome, I still love those wheels and think they look perfect on that car.

Oh, by the way Ned, I finally have my larger injectors in and have things sorted out... so when you feel the need for a ride along (as the extra nudge to buy a supercharger) I'm ready to assist in spending the money (or procuring a loan). :D

Besides, I want to feel what a set of the CR-1 seats feel like, as I'm looking to buy some seats. :)
