Finally some decent weather
Well, we finally got some nice weather so I could roll the car outside and take some shots of it out in the sunlight to really show what an awesome job that Kurt and Paul at Autokraft did with the car.
I'm waiting on a pair of braided flex line for the brakes and it's ready to drive. Hopefully the door panels and back seat will be done soon. https://lateral-g.net/g69/project.../outside04.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project.../outside03.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project.../outside02.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project.../outside08.jpg https://lateral-g.net/g69/project.../outside07.jpg |

I REALLY like it. And I was wondering as I looked at it when was the last time I saw a really trick red Pro Touring 69 Camaro? As popular and over used as red is in the restoration original world, I cannot think of another red 69 PT car off the top of my head.
Very nice |
Looks great!
|
Just Awsome Scott:hail: Kurt and Paul (AutoKraft) my hat's off to you guy's:thumbsup: Joe
|
Scott the car looks better then great if there is such a way. Can't wait to see how the interior comes out.
|
Thanks guys! I might lower it a bit, but I'm waiting until the car is 100% finished before getting too worried about ride height.

Quick question: Do you plan on putting the drip rail trim back on?? It looks great without them, and I am debating whether I put them back on or not myself. |

Now we know why the 69 Camaro is the epitome of the muscle car era.
I am jealous. What an awesome project you have. |
Nice job Autokraft
|
What size are the tires and wheels?
|
wow scott ,looks bad a$$,is the front bumper an enduro, or a smoothed out steel?
|
That looks incredible, Scott. I can't wait to see you making more video of it on the road.

"ANOTHER" awesome car on lateral-g.net.
VERY NICELY DONE!! Good job on the paint. :hail:   |
Scott, your car is perfect man!!
Doesn't that front bumper gap neend to be closed up a bit more. I thought the endura bumpers were tighter to the body lines. |
that thing looks awesome.....
what color red is that? also, how did you get a parking brake on there with those c6 calipers? judging from the chock block, im not sure that you did, but just wondering. Tim |
Thanks again, guys.

The wheel chock isn't needed, I have a parking brake in the car, but the wheel chocks have always been put in to place by my 7 year old son when I'm rolling the car around. He really gets excited that he gets to help me work on the car. When he runs to get the chocks, I don't have the heart to tell him that I don't need them anymore. :) Here's the info on the drum-in-hat parking brake setup that I'm using: https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=14127 |
Awesome car. Eyeball magnet for sure.
