Well guys It has been along hard road on this bad boy. We did the studio shots that were in Truckin last month in feb. The project has gone way over board. We are about wrapped up with all the Kevlar hose from XRP. Man that stuff is expensive. I got the custom gauge cluster back from Redline gauge works late last week. I'm still waiting on the hood and tonneu cover from the painter. The rear fenders should be bolted on tommorrow now that the actuators and taillight wires are all ran through the bed sides. I have a handfull of remaining products that I'm waiting on that have been backordered for along time, But here she is just waiting to see the light of day. I need a 2 dollar part and Then I can see if see will start.
There are studio shots on my website if you did not see the article in Truckin. http://www.truckinweb.com/tech/0805t...uck/index.html Rodger |

way back when I didn't know Rodger he posted some really cool pictures of this 57 Chevy PU. He was very modest and wanted to show people the chassis he was building. It was really impressive.
So here we are and time has past Rodger has become somewhat of a Magazine Celebrity and he's still very modest and doesn't boast much about his projects. Well, I for one would have to say the Man does some incredible work and we need to thank him for sharing what he does share. Man, the guy can even take incredible pictures showing the detail of his work. Kuddo's to him and his team - they are a great bunch of guy's and i'm willing to bet in a few years he's going to be one of the guy's to watch and we all get to say we new him when he wasn't famous. Congrads to you and your team. ps - just don't go Britny on us please |
Whenever anyone mentions a custom truck of any kind - I show them this project. Most of them have the same reaction that I did when I first saw it - Awe
I can't wait to see this truck at Columbus. I agree Marty - Rodger's crew does some fantastic work and they'll be Big Time (well bigger than they already are) in no time. Keep up the good work! |
Wow, you guys are too nice and maybe a little drunk. We try hard and have been lucky to meet the right people. I don't want to sign autographs of have anybody think I'm better then anyone else. I just want to build top notch kick ass cars that work. Along my short journey down this path I have been able to meet some very cool and understanding customers that appreciate how much work it takes to build this stuff. I'm just as excited about the friends I have made as I am the cars that are rolling out the door of our shop.
I have a very talented crew that continues to sharpen their skillls and want to build top notch stuff. Stay tuned the big ass burn out in the truck will happen very soon. I will get it on film. Thanks again but let me finish this piece of junk ( Inside joke - Redneck humor ), if my bank account can keep up? Rodger |

I was watching Rodgers project before I met him - and it inspired me to tear into the Porsche 356G project. He's another instance of the kinda people in this industry/hobby willing to help out others with their projects and dreams. Glad to see the 57 coming to completion and it's been a long and expensive journey - but man what a great finish it will be !! Looking forward to the burnout and seeing this bad ass deal up close in Columbus ! Jim |
My all time favorite pick up truck build.

Rodger,
But I thought you liked us 'stupid Nova owners'............ By the way, I was at the sign shop the other day and saw your new sign. When will you be putting it up?..... 'NOVAWORKS' will look great on your building! --Eric |
I'm beginning to think you may not be a redneck Eric....
I'm picking up a 56 chevy this morning though to start work on. So I guess it will be an out cast. Who would have thought that. |

The truck is looking very nice. I just need few parts back from the coater and it we will start the engine fire sequence.
The 56 is for a local guy who owns, and high end lift kit company. http://www.cognitomotorsports.com/ It will be a cool cruiser, no C6 stuff, no kinsler stuff, Just a bad ass cruiser. We are still hammering out the details, @ Champs today. Most all my customers know that routine. I stuff your belly with great BBQ food and convince you to spend a bunch of money on your project. HAHA Check out this engine pic, I'm thinking about chroming the stacks or ordering Carbon Fiber stacks. The alternator is being anodized right now and we are making few design changes to the alternator/power steering resirvoir bracket. Rodger |
