Good Guys...Pleasanton May 31-June 1

Here we go again...who's going?

chrismoe 05-15-2008 07:44 PM

75% sure

Steve,

Chris here. Hope you are well. I am pretty sure I am going. Just started a small side business in which I rent out off road motorcycles \ gear so it is taking quite of bit of time. Here is a craig's list link with a link inside to some pics of the "fleet":

As long as I have no renters picking up \ dropping off I plan to go Saturday.

Take care,
Chris

class67 05-15-2008 08:18 PM

Yeah, I'm bummed about missing it. Stupid job! Of course I say that but I would be in OAK because of the job. Who knows maybe things will change and I won't have to go fly in the middle east for a month.

class67 05-31-2008 08:34 PM

It was a good day at the Good Guys show today, I saw a couple of other guys from the site. They gave me the "Mighty Muscle" award and Steve (Stang) as well was given an award, though I'm not sure what it was yet.

chrismoe 06-01-2008 08:02 AM

Congrats!

Steve and Steve,

Congrats you two on the GG awards.

Chris

DRJDVM's '69 06-01-2008 02:01 PM

Congrats to both of you guys. You both deserve it

I met John from DriverzInc and the Steve from DW Motorsports (guys that built the Joker Chevelle). Both of them were great to talk to and I hope to work with both of them in the future.

Ned

Ned and Chris...thanks! Ned, it was good seeing you yesterday and Chris, what happened to you? I was looking for you. Anyway, you guys will think I'm a "nerd" for this but here is the award given to me...it is a solid piece of billet about 2-3 lbs and is anodized and engraved, really nice piece :D

LOL....that is the first thought that went through my mind when I saw it too! :_paranoid

EBMC 06-02-2008 08:13 PM

That is a nice looking plaque, very different, congrats! I recieved the Goodguys Gazette pick, they did a photo shoot and are also going to do a small article as well, so I was pretty stoked about that. It was a good weekend, weather was great, talked to a bunch of people and also did a little bench racing!

class67 06-02-2008 08:31 PM

Steve, I was wondering why you left the winners circle yesterday morning... until Mark brought up the shoot when we were BSing by your car  Congrats to you as well, I'm looking forward to seeing the Gazette.

For those of you who missed us, here is a peak at what our set up looked like, still working on it, should get better as we do more shows.

Debuted the new wheel designs, and passed over 1000 new catalogs. Thanks to everyone for their support!
