Looking for rims for new project.
Hey everyone,
I know ther are a couple of you on this forum who do rims and figured this would be a good place to start. I have a new project coming in and the customer would like a three peace rim or the look. We are stuffing a 345/35/19 viper tire under a 71 Cuda with all XV motorsports suspension front and back. Who ever responds to the thread can you submit some pics of the rims. Much appreciated!!! |
Check out Driver's Inc..they distribute Rushforth wheels...great turn time, great customer service, great looking product!

That car is sexy but those wheels are too ghetto fabulous. Not muscular. Just my opinion.

Check out www.Forgeline.com then check our website for multiple cars running Forgelines. www.ProdigyCustoms.com.
You won't find a better wheel then Forgeline at any price, and our prices are killer. Let me know if I can help. |
www.fikse.com These wheels are very nice. We are a dealer for their product.

Yo !!
Thanks for all the replys. My customer has'nt seen the Forglines yet. I think they have some bada$$ rims and choices so I hope he likes the line considering were going to need 19's. He's out of town till next week. If there are anymore companies out there let me know? Until then thanks again guys. |
Sounds like a great project and we'd love to have a set of Rushforths on it.
We can make you 2 or 3 piece wheels in a variety of styles and finishes and have them on your door in 5 weeks or less. There are a bunch of photos of our latest designs on the Wheel/Tire section and I can email you a pdf of our new catalog. That also goes for anyone else who would like to PM me or Jon their email addresses. |

Sorry if I came off like a jerk. I should have elaborated. |
Hey All
Thanks again for all the replys. The project is finally moving. Just got the car back from the sandblaster (he's ownly 50 feet from my door step). We did the engine compartment and underside so we can start on the suspension parts. A couple areas in the engine bay need some rust repair but other than that she looks good for a 37 year old. Sorry to the rim guys that I did'nt get back to you. Don't count us out yet because the owner has'nt made a choice just yet. So there's still a chance. He really likes a company in canada I think it's called R.W.O. not sure. But I'am trying to get him to lean towards one of you guys. Here's a couple pics to things started. Oh yea forgot the front down bars are getting ripped out and moved forward. Trust me it was the first thing I told the customer!! |
We can do a three piece in any size you need with fast turnaround time. Fesler 3 piece wheels in any finish and size

Check out these Dymag carbon fiber rim / magnesium center... this combo starts around $9000 a set, but they are cool!

Those carbon fibers are on the twin turbo Mosler I plumbed for Nelson. Those things are pretty sick
|
Hey Mark, how about a true knock off wheel like a kidney bean with three bar spinner from P.S. enginering. Just food for thought.
|
I think Forgeline and HRE and some of the best 3 piece wheels on the market. Not only that, their tested. BBS is super high end.

The owner is pretty stuck on his ideas. I can only throw so many things at him. So this build is more of his style and my exacution to make it happen. I'am limited on this build as far as style. I think it will look pretty cool though. I'am going to smooth alot of the engine compartment and at least some of that I will have some say. Remeber I can't say much he is paying the bills. I can only do the best of my ability. He still is questioning the rims? Here's a pic of his other car |

You got some bad ass rims Fesler. :wow:

Car is badass though without em. |
some tin work
Here's a couple shots of some progress. I've been smoothing the frame rails and doing the neccisary mods for the new XV suspension that has yet to show up. So in the mean time we got rid of some rust and made some custom inner fender wells and opened up the front radiator suppots for a bigger radiator.
