This is my 2nd set from Driverzinc this year and I very highly recommend him for all your wheel/tire and accessories needs. |
What do I think?
I think I'm wishing I lived on the west coast! LOL
In my best Napolean Dynamite voice: "LUCKY!" (c:] |

Sorry I wasn't able to help you out on the pictures of your wheels, did you finally get access to see them? |
Jon/DriverzInc ROCKS!
Once again Jon came through for me and email pictures to me!
The wheels look incredible!! Can't wait to see them in person! |
Looks great man....I wish I could get some. Could you post a front shot(looking at the tread) of how the Nitto 275/40/18's fit on the 10's. That is the same size I am running but on BFG KD's. Just kinda wanna see how these tires look width wise in comparison.
Thanks! |

The smoked titanium is a really nice finish, which car are they going on?

Does this help...

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05644.jpg As you can see,the Nitto's are pretty "square" tires w/o much buldge. This is gonna help me bigtime w/clearance... |

All Chevrolets,all the time... |
One more little detail...
Jon had my rear pads shaved just a bit to afford me a little bit more clearance.Notice how the rear edges of the spokes meet the edge of the pads in the fronts vs the rears as well as how much further the centercap is sunk in on front vs the rear...front b/s is 4.875",rears are a custom-made 5.625"
Front: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05647.jpg Rear: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05645.jpg I tell ya...that Jon Henson is one sharp cookie. |
Thanks John! You really flatter me....
We are VERY happy that you received the wheels in good form, and that you are excited about putting them on your very nice camaro. That car is going to be transformed by the new wheels. Looking forward to seeing them all bolted on! I will unfortunately be gone until Next Tuesday due to a death in the family. We will be up in Sacramento until Monday night. If anything comes up, you can try my cell phone. Thanks again for running our wheels, and we are pleased to be of service. :lateral: |

Sweet! What is that a 4" lip?
How big is the lip on the fronts? |
Quote:
I'm at work now but going off of memory,I'd say the fronts are about half of the rears, maybe a scosh less. |
Forgive me for my ignorance but, what exactly is a scosh?

I may have spelled it wrong too. |

First off,I seriously had my reservations about trying to shove a 10" wide rear on my car since it sits so low but I should have known better than to doubt Jon Henson's knowledge and years of experience when it comes to fitment. He nailed the b/s and look on my Chevelle earlier this year so I knew I was in good hands with him but still...this car is on the ground! Jon's little tricks and advice have made me a very happy customer today and I cannot stress enough what a great asset he is to this community.Anyone who is looking for the perfect tire/wheel combo should look no further then to Jon @ www.driverzinc.com. I am so stoked...these pictures do not do the car justice.I had a couple of buddies stop by my home today along with my "car" neighbors and everyone agreed that they look SICK,SICK,SICK...! Drumroll please... http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05656.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05652.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05658.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05659.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC05653.jpg What do you guys think...? |
Few more angles...
|
Those wheels look awesome on your car, John! The finish on them is unique and sets it apart from the rest. Seems like you go thru wheels like my son goes thru diapers. JK. Thanks for posting the pics.
|
GORGEOUS!!! Those wheels are SICK!!! Good thing mine are already done or I'd probably be changing my mind again! LOL Seriously, I love the smoked titanium on the centers! (c:] Congrats my friend!!
Now, you know your 70 1/2 is jealous of the 69 and the Chevelle... Better order up some black centered Fuel's with brushed hoops for it! |
Looks great John! Love the smoked look. Do you get front tire to fender contact cause man that sucker is DUMPED!!!!!
|
Man those look good. The smoke color looks sick with the yellow. Congratulations again. So whats next?

I've had it even closer in front when I ran 4.5" with a 255/44-17 front but with this setup,It's all good.Even my VWW V-40's w/4.75" b/s and 245/45's clear no problem. It is tight though but that's how I like it...:unibrow: I think I'm all set for wheels now JPO1970,for a little while at least, lol.I've got all American-made wheels on all three of my cars so life is good! |
Well John, they look great! I was dying all day yesterday bc I was so busy I didn't even have time to turn on my computer, this is the 1st time I've had a chance since Friday night. They look so good.... now I don't know if I don't want Super Spokes..... LOL.... This decision making is driving me crazy.

Thanks man... I totally agree! |
Jon,
You need to update the pics for your camaro's lateral-g feature page. |
I've thought of that Chris,is that something I do myself or do I need to send Scott some updated pics?
Chevelle needs updating too... |
