69 Camaro project at Autokraft
I'm going to get this thread rolling for Kurt at Autokraft. He's building a bad ass 69 Camaro for a customer using a DSE front sub, DSE Q-Link, Fikse wheels, Wilwood brakes, LS7 with a Katech cam, and a beautiful Kinsler intake with carbon fiber velocity stacks. A good bit of the car is done, and I thought now would be a good time to start a build thread so we can all follow along.
ALL the pics can be found HERE on Kurt's website. http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0070.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0069.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0071.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0075.jpg |

Very Nice. What an intake!

Yeah, that intake is wicked!
|
Nice stuff!
|

|
What type of wheels are those if you don't mind?
|
Quote:
The wheels are Fikse Profil 5 S The color is Anthracite. |
Awesome build, this car has all my dream parts on it
|
Very similair to what I would like to do for a build. VERY SIMILIAR!!!:unibrow:
I like the build, but not too crazy about the intake for some reason. LOVE the ls7 with the Katech cam!!!  |

Same wheels as Stielow's Camaro X.
|
Looks like a sick project, love the intake. What color is it going to be painted?
|
It hasn't been painted yet, but it's most likely going to be hugger orange with white stripes.
|
SWEEEET!
Just when one thinks they've seen it all along comes someone like Kurt. Thanks for sharing your project with us. Marco |
|
Nice engine package and awesome build .I 'll keep my eye on this one.
|
That Camaro does not suck!!
|
Wow awesome!
|
WOW! :hail:
|
This is a dumb question, but I'm not sure I like the chrome rear bumper with the painted front bumper (in the rendering). I'm not all that educated on '69 Camaros compared to most, so maybe this is a normal occurrence.
Either way, this will be a badass car. The quality of work thus far looks top notch. Keep the pics coming!!!!! |
Very nice. Sick in a healthy way.
|
Sweet!!!!!

There should be a lot more pics coming soon. Should be in color soon (and it's not the same color as the rendering :unibrow: ). |
Looks awesome.
Scott, I remember that this car was bought off another member on the board but was just wondering is this going to be Kurt's car or just a customer not on the BB? |
Yep, the car was bought from a member of the site.
Kurt is building it for a customer that doesn't get on here much at all. |
Hey Scott, what is the sizes and b.s. on those wheels? O and what other color options are you looking at? Looks GREAT! Those rear tires are HUGE! Look great on the car.
|
Nice project

Wow I just got intake envy:unibrow: Thanks for posting Scott.
Very nice work Kurt very cool |
Kurt cut in the Stielow inspired trunk floor recesses and the bottom of the car gets media blasted on Monday, then it's full speed ahead with paint!
The Lemons headers fit great - even with the 2" primaries. http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0174.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0165.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0179.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0171.jpg http://www.autokraft.org/gallery/hay...mages/0173.jpg |
NICE!
How low do the headers hang below the frame rail? |
According to Kurt, they don't hang down at all.
|
Well you can't beat that! That's a great option for the LS guys....and gals!
