Hydroboost with Willwood Master

I'm buying a hydroboost setup and need to know which willwood master cylinder works with the hydroboost. Summit has about 10 different willwood master cylinders with different bore sizes.

What bore size do I need to order?

i think a 1 inch or 1-1/8 bore woul dbe right about what you would want.
are they pbr calipers? alcons? 4 pisotn, 6 piston?

I have the 1 1/8 Wilwood MC on my car. I have 6 piston Baer on all 4 and a Hydratech hydroboost unit. Paul from Hydratech recommended a master with 1 1/8 bore. The brakes work fantastic!!

Thanks for the reply. I just spent 15 minutes on hold with CPPP to find out it's 1-1/8" ;)

Thank you,

Rich

260-8556 for natural, add a (P) suffix for the polished version.

We have one on the shelf in polished

Hello
I have a question
I just got my hydraboost and 1 1/8 bore Wilwood master.
But it feels like the pushrod in between the master and the booster is too short.
when I push on the pedal after about an inch of movement the pedal has a harder feel to it. It's like the pushrod doesn't meet the master for an even feel thought the motion.
Is this normal?

Thanks
Rob

Boy your not kidding Rich, I called CPP today and was on hold forever. when the guy finally got on the phone he didn't have a clue what hydroboost was. I was alway told they have pretty bad customer service skills. I'm hoping it gets better if there the only people we can go to for parts.

Hydroboost Response

I just recently purchased a hydroboost system and was able to email Paul at Hydratech before I chose to buy. I know that my G-Body with hydroboost 3033 with the Wilwood dual master cyclinder and Paul said that I need to use a short pushrod with a spacer bullet that comes with the Wilwood master cylinder.I'll give an update when I give a chance. Paul also recommended talking to Mark at SC&C (Savitski Customs) who was extremely helpful.
