I was thinking about some trick brackets to move my coils, any opinions?

We are about to mass produce these one offs:

They have the cylinder numbers milled into them for quick identification, and will be offered in black anodized.

Don't have pricing yet, but will soon.

Damn You Tyler!!! This is why these cars are never done:lol:

Check out the one from KaTech. They have a coil mount that positions the package off the outboard side of the valve cover and right over the headers. Not sure about any heating issues - but it looks like a solid design. (I beleive there is one installed in this months Corvette Fever mag on a yellow c6r Pratt/Miller car)

Awesome mounts Tyler - but obviously I am slightly biased. ;)
The design and machine quality is absolutely scond to none.

The Katech mounts are great pieces but don't mount that way at all. They relocate the coils further inboard not outboard. They require Katech's valve covers (which are also great pieces) and new plug wires that are included in the kit.

I do believe a company named abear motorsports makes them for the LS1.

They are mounted outboard on the pratt/miller car right over the exhaust - must be a custom bracket and not a Katech manf unit. Thx

The article is in GM High-Tech Performance - Sept issue - on page 40-42.

Says the motors for the Pratt&Miller C6R/S cars are built for them from Katech. It shows the outboard coil mounts - sorta looks like Tyler's too. Might be using the header studs for the "C" mounts. I'll check some more and see if I can find additional info. Jim

Finally done. Pricing will be $300 plus shipping. These are for the LS2 and LS7 type coils only. Will not work with the truck coil, aftermarket MSD versions, or the LS1/LS6 type coils.

Mast Motorsports makes a relocation kit that relocates the coils to the back of the cylinder head. I read it on their site, but can't find a picture of what it looks like.
