Just got my badge for SEMA in the mail Today and since I am only going for two days I wanted to pick the same day/night for the dinner if there is going to be one?

It does not look like it will happen this year due to scheduling and location issues. If things change we'll start a new post.

this is a bit O/t but Im also a speaker this year for a seminar and would appreciate it if some of you guys attend my lecture omn Thursday at 8:30am (yeah I know its early) . Ill give out more info when I have it ....

I had one of those...didn't last too long! A cat got to it and killed the air ring...I think we used the pool 4 times!

Maybe I should start a post about how your cat screwed you over on a pool. :lol:

Pool....if I want a swim I have two buddies close:D I filled up my pool area with RV Parking. We should all get together one night.

We need to get together and see what we can come up with. Maybe a BBQ or at least a good place for an unofficial party.

OK, this is Vegas, lets pick a bar and start telling everyone to just show up.

This could be a non-sit down, very cool, get-together.

Pick a bar, any bar, and we could take it over for the evening.

Maybe everyone who shows must bring a gift, no exceptions, all gifts are exchanged, then anyone walking around the rest of the evening you know was part of the 'in' crowd.
It seems we are always walking around our fellow members and don't even know who they are, the guy might be right next to you at some event...and you didn't even know it.

since a lot of us are at Flamingo, we were thinking of hanging out at Margaritaville inside the Flamingo on Wednesday night. If others want to meet up that might be a plan.

Outback is just down the street! If memory serves me correct - there was some nice talent walking around Margaritaville...Then again it is Vegas..Would we expect anything less?? :unibrow:

I vote for NOT a chain steak house....just my .04, it is Vegas, lets spice it up a little.


I just heard from Larry Callahan, Pro-Touring is Thursday night, so dinner and drinks Wednesday night...Tell one tell all.

We should do Toby Keiths I love this bar for steaks and margaritaville for drinks afterwards. Don't frequent the stip anymore but have heard good things about Toby's place.

If you going to do Margarettaville plan on getting there early. This place packs up quick and they hang up the rope. On the bottom floor of the Flamming in the back by the pools is a bar and outside patio. it's always empty.I'll bet if we told them in advance they would set up extra tables and chairs.

Its called- upercharge your backyard business'-it will be a forum (with audience dicussion) on the trials of goign from a backyard buy to doing this stuff professionally.

I will be speaking , along with Jim Barber from Classic Auto Restorations and Ernie from Egge products will moderate.
Should be pretty interesting.

Keep in mind Thursday night at the VooDoo Lounge on top of the Rio... it's the 3rd annual V8TV "low-key" cocktail / BS / hangout... killer view over the strip outside on the roof. All are welcome.

We usually head up there around 9-9:30, and last year the last people standing were Frank & Lisa Serafine, Larry Callahan, Bill Howell, Ben Hermance, Mike Ring, Kelle and I, and a couple others around 2:30 I think. My memory is a little fuzzy, if you get my drift. :cheers:

but no response looks like this would work.Everyone could sharpee there name on there foreheads and you will know who your talking to.

I'll call Flamingo tomorrow and see what they can do. I wasn't planning on going this year but if it's a chance to get togethor I'll make it happen.

I had a great time at the Voodoo lounge last year. I look forward to hanging out again and actually having a voice! 2 months and counting.......

As one of "the others" still standing, I can vouch for the good time and great company. Awesome view(s):unibrow: I'm in again for sure this year!
