I am curious about this as well, the centers (inside the black, looks like satin finish?) apparently that is the silver powder coat, therefore makes it two tone??

Flash68 09-05-2008 01:50 PM

Jon, sent you a PM.

sacarguy 09-05-2008 02:33 PM

ya

This is the wheel i plan to put on my car

but i want the centers anoodized in the smoke titanium before the slots and bolt area is machined so what you would have is smoked titanium annodized where this wheel is black plus the silver machined inlay along with a brushed and cleared lip

thedugan 09-05-2008 04:05 PM

Cool -

Do I get royalties on the design?

The wheel center is powder coated gloss black. Brushed on the sides, and the whole center is clear powder coated.

What you see is the brushed aluminum, not silver powdercoat. After the pockets and sides were machined, the whole center was powdercoated clear to protect the brushed aluminum and to seal all the black edges.

Do you have a high res of that car shot? It's a '68 right??

thedugan 12-09-2008 09:30 AM

Yes Steve its a 68 RS/SS ragtop big block car

Let me know what you want and I'll get it. I don't know much about cameras so if high res is more then like 4megapixel then I need a new camera...
