nice little Mustang restore.

Here's a few shots of another Mustang in the shop. For the life of me I can't seem to get photos when the car is on the ground!!

This one got almost the full treatment with our full chassis underneath and a new bottom sheetmetal. I'll get some better pics up tomorrow hopefully.

I think someone had asked about how the other Mustang was going to be mounted to the frame. Here's a shot with the spacers in. A full set of billet mounts will be made.

That is awesome. I cant wait to see some more progress shots. Lucky owner.

jephs422 09-10-2008 11:29 PM

the motor showed up a few days ago. The injection on this is absolutely nasty. I don't have the specs in front of me, I'll get them in the morning and post them.

Me too.

jephs422 09-18-2008 08:38 PM

We're a bit closer now. We had to do a bit of sheet metal work to get the exhaust routed to exactly where the customer wanted it. I think it looks pretty trick as a side effect. The exhaust will run un the drive shaft tunnel, run through the frame, and exit behind the tires out the rear quarter.

Oh and don't mind the x-member's shotty looking welds, it's just tacked in place.

shaving the drip rails was a nice touch on the early mustangs they do nothing but rust out anyways. Are you going to do the Shelby side windows or something else?

skooli 11-15-2008 03:12 PM

No one has EVER accused me of posting pictures too fast, LOL. Sorry for the delay in getting more pictures up..here's a few more for you all. Personally I think the center console with a cup holder big enough for a Big Gulp is the most kick ass thing in the car :D

LOL!! To us, that's a restoration.

I guess technically it's a restomod, but with most cars we build all the panels are built by hand and redone, so something with a few mild body mods and our chassis I usually call a restoration......

67Fastback 03-30-2009 11:44 AM

Any updates?

How did you do the channel for the water? Any more pics of that? Very nice :)

70rs 03-30-2009 12:21 PM

What brand and model are the wheels on that Mustang?
That car is killer, can't wait to see more progress!
Thanks,
Eric

kmcanally 03-30-2009 07:38 PM

Nice build...although I wonder why no mini-tub especially with all the metal and chassis work?

67Fastback 09-05-2009 02:09 PM

I must request again - any more updates? Don't make me wait any longer! :)

MODO Innovations 09-05-2009 02:25 PM
