1984 Nelson Racing T.T. Camaro
Well some of you might remember her. Randy Davis sent a car out to Tom Nelson to get a twin turbo put in. Tom brought it over to me to do the all the plumbing. Well just like any other project it took a SHARP TURN. We ended up backhalfing the car and stuffing a 345 under her mind you all this time the car was painted (not fun). So that got finished. In the mean time Nelson was busy creating the baddest billet intake and twin turbo set-up known to man. Well we all now what this does? The engine compartment had to compliment the motor. So here are a couple of spy photos before SEMA.

Here's one more. The top portion is almost done but it'll give you an idea of where it's heading.
|
Would it be possible to get you to send me any further pictures of the mini tub, preferably start to finish, or at least whatever you have taken? The owner of the car sent me a few which are very good, but if I am going to cut into my 91' , I want to have as much information as I can possibly find. This car would be a GREAT example to base my workings off of.
If so, please send them to [email protected] Thanks, Jason |
just one more

Ok im going to sema this year!
|
As the probably newest purchases of another car with a Nelson engine, (just paid for it hours ago. Wont deliver til Sunday!) very interested to see this complete! I've got to get to SEMA!
|
Thank you very much for the e-mail !
This car is going to raise the bar in the thirdgen world !! Do you have any pictures of the frame rail areas that you fabbed? I have a good idea of what is needed now for the tubs themselves, but the frame portion I am leary of due to the uni-body constuction. You are doing an amazing job ! Keep up the great work ! Jason |
Up Date !!! Got the front hood latch area and radiator cover pretty much tide up. So give it a look and let me know what you guys think?
