New engine for the Nova!....Finally!
 

Well i finally got the time and money up to tear out the tired old 350/350 from the Nova and build a new (more powerful) 355. Here are some pics of the past couple weeks progress;

Looks very nice. I just picked up a 68 Camaro but it is a 100% project car so it will be a while before mine hit the streets. Good luck with the start up. hope I get to see your Nova sometime.

Its a 350 bored 30 over (355),
eagle cast steel crank,
scat forged rods,
speed pro hypereutectic pistons,
patriot cylinder heads (64cc chambers, 2.02/1.60" valves, 190cc intake runners),
stainless roller rockers,
Jegs double roller timing chain set,
Moroso 7qt pan,
Summit cam (.488"/.510" lift, 234/244 [email protected]", 114 lobe sep, adv 4 degrees),
Edelbrock performer rpm intake,
750 Edelbrock carb,
1 5/8" Hooker headers etc.
Behind it is a TCI Street Fighter TH-350

Sounds lot a solid build...should be able to pop some high 12's with it no problem!

yeah I want to bring it to pinetop next year for sure. I debating on whether to drive it or my brothers Nova to Feslers get together thing before Goodguys this year too.
