Killer car at the right price!

awr68 10-03-2008 08:50 PM

Curtis I hate to see it go! And I know you do too!

This is a very solid, clean, well built car and I've had the opportunity to drive it! It's a great buy at this price!

Surely someone needs it!! Good luck with the sale brother...we'll get you another one soon!!

Flash68 10-03-2008 09:11 PM

Bummer you have to sell. Very sweet car. Super clean and great mods. It must be a blast to drive.

Good luck. Seems like a fair price.

mazspeed 10-03-2008 10:00 PM

Bitchen car Curtis, I hate to see you sell it. That is a very good price for what you have into that car.

Spiffav8 10-03-2008 10:27 PM

Thanks guys. Yeah it's a bummer but sadly at this time it has to be done. I can only hope that when the day comes for me to buy another one that it's as clean.

I'd really like to see a member buy the car who I know will love the car.

Sorry you have to let it go but at least you got your priorities straight. Family comes first. There will be other projects waiting when you are ready. Good luck on the sale.

Well some times life just isn't fair. Saturday on my way home from training I received word the company I work for has declared bankruptcy. The future doesn't look to bright for them. Tough times all around these days. I'm pressed to find a good home for the car so I've lowered the price to $38.5k. Yeah I'm taking a bath on it but that's the way the ball bounces I suppose.

Please contact me if your interested. Car goes on ebay tomorrow.

Nope...it's there. Bid is up to $21,100.00. I'd rather a L-G member got the car though. E-bay ends Sunday....we shall see.

Feel free to watch. I know we are all very interested in what the market is doing these days.

I showed the car to a couple of guys at Mandalay Bay this morning. They where in town for B.J. and inspected it for a friend. They commented that they had seen my ad and commented that it didn't do the car justice. Perhaps that's why I have had a hard time moving it...or maybe I'm just impatient.

What do you guys think? Do the pictures not show enough or am I showing the wrong types of pics?? I'd appreciate your input.

:captain:

skatinjay27 10-19-2008 05:01 PM

sorry bud BUT the pictures suck for selling the car!
theres not enough detail in them... more cool pics than anything.
you need more upclose pics and you should have tyler put it up on the lift and take pics of the underside. and pull a front wheel and show the suspension/brakes. it just need more detail shots so it reasures people that you not trying to hide anything.
also the pics on the ebay ad seem to be shrunkin down and all blurry.

Vegas69 10-19-2008 07:29 PM

I agree you need way more pictures. A video is a huge deal. If I ever need to sell mine the video will be my main focus. I have seen it work on Ebay. In fact it netted my buddy 5k over his previous auction. 11k to 17k The guys wife said the video hooked him. If you want to pay my buddy Kendall a few hundred it will pay off tenfold. He is a pro with video editing.

Spiffav8 10-19-2008 08:00 PM

Thanks for the feed back.

Flash68 10-19-2008 08:36 PM

I don't think the pics are THAT bad, but yes they can could be a little clearer and more up close shots would be great.

And even a 1 minute low quality video would be huge. Hearing the sound of these cars can really reel a buyer in I think.
