Doing DSE Friday, and the show all three days, autocross too.

wiedemab 10-17-2008 05:55 AM

Unfortunately, Dad and I won't be making the trip this year. Just too many other things going on. DSE's open house is usually one of the highlights of our trip.

Have fun!

B Schein 10-17-2008 09:30 AM

I will probably go I only live 20 minutes away.

Stuart Adams 10-17-2008 10:44 AM

Certainly a good show, but the rain definetly hurt attendance for both cars and spectators.

That silver convertible GTO was smokin!

cdushane 10-27-2008 09:55 AM

Except for the weather it was a really good show. It was nice to meet Tom and Payton as well and the DSE party was a great event. It was awesome to see there facility and some of the projects they are working on....WOW! All of the people at DSE are truley first class and it especially shows how much they love what they do.

Pro Rides 10-27-2008 01:38 PM

Yellowrallys, Are you talking about the drag week car? Or our shop car is a 69 502/502 car.

Was the shop car at Charlotte? I'm thinking that was you at the auto x in the black 69, DSE sub, etc.

Payton King 10-28-2008 07:36 AM

I hate that we missed the open house.

I thought it was going to rain and we decided just to go to the house.

Tom, I am glad we got to hook up and really enjoyed your company. Can't wait to see progress on your ride.

Chris what can I say...69 Camaros are my favorite cars and by far yours was my favorite at the show. Wish we had more time to talk. I still need a report on the Katech Street Attack motor once you start hammering on it. Hope to see you at Year One next year. Your wife is beautiful, make sure you bring her as well. LOL

The DSE folks are top notch. Love all the stuff they do up at the shop.

Pro Rides 10-28-2008 11:23 AM

That was our 69 on the autoX. I just ran twice on the track, the lines were long and I was running double duty with George's Chevelle in the Pro Pick area. But we did have some fun on the track cruise Sat nite.

yellowrallys 10-28-2008 11:50 AM

Just trying to figure out who is who. I was in the red/black two tone 69 at auto x and mighty muscle area. Payton, I thought about you, but did not see your car. As close as we live, we should do a Sunday cruise sometime.

Payton, thanks for the compliments on my car....oh yeah, and my wife! LOL. I will definately let you know how that motor holds up.

Stuart Adams 10-29-2008 11:16 AM

Looks like Kyle won the autocross for 8 in a row. :hail:

Payton King 10-29-2008 11:58 AM

Where was the mighty muscle area?

As I was leaving Saturday I saw your red and black 69 in line to run.

I am a puss. I did not bring my car out in the rain. I could not stand the thought of having to clean up the bottom...since I recently did that when I got caught out at RTTH4 in a shower.

There is a cruise at "South 21" resturant on Hwy 74 on the 1st and 3rd fridays of every month. I may try and go next week.

radrambler 10-29-2008 05:35 PM
