OH NOOOOOOOO! I was self teaching myself PS and learned to make it "LOOK" like a sketch. I can do just about anything even a photograph of a person.

I figure I got this new macbook pro I might as well learn how to use the damn software on it instead of using it for a "high tech" machine to burn music and DVD movies! :lol:

I still want to learn how to PS different wheels and colors onto cars any suggestions?

Remember the first time you wrenched on a car? I do, it never got put back together, lol! Photoshop is the same concept, the more you mess around the more you learn. I like to photochop because it's fairly quick, easy, and you can get amazing realistic results. When chopping photos the rubber stamp tool, pen tool used for a selection tool, transform and layers are your buddies. The air brush tool, hue change tool, and brightness/contrast tool bring it all home.

I did this one a while back for a GTO buddy. First thing was to eliminate the background and factory rolling stock (duplicate original layer, delete original layer, pen tool-trace area to be deleted/paths/make selection/activate car layer/delete). Then I removed the factory hood scoops (rubber stamp, blend, blur, and airbrush tools) and changed the car color (hue/saturation). Next was to select (pen tool) the wheels and tires, then the scoop from the Mustang and copy then past on a new layer. The front wheel needed only minimal tweaking (edit/transform) but the back wheel and scoop needed a little more work to look like the correct size and perspective. The wheels are on a layer below the car, the scoop on a layer above it. Finally came the airbrush tool to paint on the flames, highlights and background and the emblem was modified to say 9.4 litre and dropped on an new layer.

There's a little more to it than that but that's basically it. Practice practice practice. When I can't figure out how to do something I get out the manual, search the web for a tutorial, or mess within the program until I get it. Good luck! :thumbsup:
