OneLapCamaro is fantastic.

Coolest table and chairs EVER.

Nelson Racing Engines debuts their left and right symmetrical turbo housing setup on Randy's 3rd Gen. I loved Tom's marketing slogan. I need one of those shirts, Tom.

Roadster Shop's Chevelle is very green.

That has got to be the best third gen ever. I had two of them and I will always be partial to the third gen.

Thanks for the photos, Scott. I really like the Charger that Steve Strope built with the Ferrari theme. Very nice!

Finally someone posting pics of parts from SEMA

THANKS!!

Kris Horton 11-08-2008 07:25 PM

Great pics Scott! You caught a few cars that I must have walked right by. Good seeing you and Brent at the show too, wish I could have made it by the dinner!

THANKS!!

I took some of a few things that I was personally interested in.

New series of gauges from Auto Meter:

A-Body goodies from DSE:

Chassisworks goodies:

MSD's LS/GenIII/GenIV ignition box is tiny. I would have liked to have seen the tuning software running on a laptop, but a pic of the box will have to do.

Thanks for the picture's Scott. I too am interested in the new Autometer gauges. They didn't have a pricing on them did they?

XcYZ 11-08-2008 07:39 PM

Good seeing you again, Kris. I know the feeling, I see pics posted of cars/parts that I don't recall seeing. Typical SEMA. lol

More parts, these might be some of the updates to my car this winter.

Level 3 in-dash shift light from Auto Meter that connects to the in-dash tach and will playback on the tach, peak recall, adjustable intensity and works in dim-mode for night time use, and it you can also set it to illuminate at any certain launch RPM.

http://www.lateral-g.org/events/sema2008/0255.jpg

Guillotine style exhaust cut-out cuz loud pipes save lives. Or something like that.

I asked Kris about that, he gave a ballpark number, but said final pricing will come next week. They have a 'kit' that will come with all the gauges except the tach. Expect Kris to post a Press Release here soon.

The packaging for the Amercan Muscle kit is the coolest I've ever seen. They're all lined up like you'd have them on your dash, and there's a place in the packaging to squeeze and all the gauges light up like they would at night. Very trick. I couldn't stop playing with it.

Thanks for the picture Scott. I had a blast at sema. it was very hard to leave when the show was over. I am thinking about plastic wrapping my t-shirt. they were a big hit

Of course, Randy. Here's another pic. Look at those hardlines...

http://www.lateral-g.org/events/sema2008/0044.jpg

Here's a detail shot of Tom's new intake that's on Randy's car. It's super trick with the built in dual fuel rails inside/under the plenum and the built in dual fuel regulators. It's a CNC masterpiece.

Great Pictures Scott - but where is Image # 0082 and your short 12 pictures so you can't call it 300pcs

unless you are holding out on us on the last 12 pics.

any chance they are of some hot women

XcYZ 11-10-2008 08:14 PM

lol, Marty. I took exactly 300 pics, but I ended up dropping a few because they were redundant or really out of focus.

Scott I would be remiss if I did not express my dismay over the fuzzy "Hottie" pictures. This is most unfortunate.

:D :P

Well, to be totally honest, the pics of the booth babes were all taken as I walked past. It was like, oh hey, there's a pair... click. lol I really felt out of place taking pics of the booth babes with a real camera, though. 99% of the time they were surrounded by dudes and their cell phones. I don't know how it would have looked with me having Media credentials and shooting pics with my cell phone.

trapin 11-12-2008 07:38 PM

Or just say, "Hi...My name is Scott, I work for the TV show America's Next Top Model, would you mind if I got a quick pic?" :D

Hey, it could work. :_paranoid

slenning 11-13-2008 06:25 AM

Hi Scott, thanks for the pics. I'm always amazed how much time I spend walking thru Sema and then somebody posts pictures and I say "where the heck was that" :_paranoid Also was curious as to the fuzzy hottie pictures, very disappointing.

syborg tt 11-13-2008 07:21 AM
