Daytona Turkey Run

We fly down every year for this show. Anyone else on here gonna be there, its the 27th to the 30th i believe.

ProdigyCustoms 11-12-2008 08:03 PM

It is a regular pilgrimage to Daytona for us each year. We cannot get Turkey dinner finished quick enough. We will be there with multiple cars. We are only 60 miles away and will drive back and forth each day. Lisa will drive her Project EmptyNest over, Michael will bring his Project Prodigy, and I will bring my Street Racer, I love raising hell over there and looking for trouble over there in that car!

My cell number is in my signature, call and lets hook up. If you got nothing to drive, we will find you a ride in something

I used to come down for it every year. Then I came down for the 500 instead
I think it's time for the rod run again!!!!

ProdigyCustoms 11-12-2008 08:47 PM

Come on down Pete, I know you don't drink, but we can act drunk!

joe440 11-12-2008 09:12 PM

That sounds great. Im only 18 so no legal drinking for me:( haha, but I'd like to give you a call if thats alright, I'd love to finally meet some others from this site. My dad might like to tag along for a night he's the one that got me into this stuff. I usually go to the daytona beach strip at night, you know any other good spots down there for night action with the cars? Ill have a car too, its an 07 saleen mustang not exactly pro-touring but its fun to drive. We also got a 68 cadillac coupe de'ville down there but its not to good for causing mayhem. We were hoping to trailor my dads 34 coupe down but he cant be away from his buisness to much adding in the extra days of driving, if everything goes right next year were going to bring both our cars down for it.
Hope to see you down there,
Joe:cheers:

Well, our Michael and Andrew are young guys too. I am sure Michael will need a wingman for some cruisin blast up and down the strip.

When were not cruising, we hang out at Belair Plaza accross from the host hotel at night. The show cars hang out by Fridays on the north end of the plaza.there is a good 1000 cars there on any given night of the show. The street racers hook up on the south end of the Plaza. I don't wait up all night for that stuff much anymore though.

joe440 11-24-2008 05:11 PM

Well my flight leaves tomorrow morning. Frank, ill be going to daytona probably every night of the show. Ill give you a call thursday or friday and we can try to meet up and go for a cruise or something. Good talking with you, Joe.

Just found this thread. I'll probably see you guys down there. I'll be there like usual on Friday and Saturday. I'll keep an eye out for you Frank.

If anyone spots me around the car stop and say hello.

My plans changed a bit when my dad was ambulance to the hospital last week, He is out now but had me tied up a lot last week and we had a few things we were doing to the cars. I just don't much feel like busting ass to get them over there. Also, it is so hard to get a spot at Belair for one car, let alone 3 or 4 cars. And we dont exactly like parking those high end cars and walking away if you know what I mean. So Michael and I will ride over in in the Monte Carlo I think and just have some fun without the stress of worrying about all the cars.

Frank, sorry to hear about your Dad....I hope all is well now! That stuff can certainly be scary...I've been threw it a couple times!

Thank you for the compliments! The rod shop that built my car reserves 10 car coral slots every year and asked me to have my car there with the others. That's why it was parked there. It was not really for sale but I did have a lot of people ask so I gave them a number I would sell it for.
