Work On Rambler Day !
 

HEY GUYS

took today to work on the rambler ..sanded and primed passenger side of car.
also filled and sanded on the right lower c pillar where i grafted in replacement sheetmetal back in april.....
ive been working on it steady now... so ill keep updating with pics ....
in the mean time im still debating what motor & trans combo to go with..
WAS OFFERED A SMALL BLOCK CHEVY WEBER SETUP FROM A FRIEND THAT IS LIKE NEW...FOR A STEAL.... THEY LOOK COOL... JUST DONT KNOW ..
STILL STRONGLY PULLED IN THE LS1 DIRECTION....THIS **** WILL DRIVE YA CRAZY!!!!

THEY ARE STILL BRINGING PRETTY GOOD MONEY IT SEEMS ...VIA EBAY AUCTIONS.... AND IM NOT FAMILIAR WITH CHRYSLER STUFF....
DOESNT SOUND LIKE A BAD IDEA.....JUST ARENT AS EASY FOR ME TO GET AS LSX MOTORS.......

Worked On The Car Today...
Sprayed Some More Primer On ..roof Was Covered Today...im Going To Do The Drivers Door And Fender Tommorrow. Then Ill Block And Find My Dimples ......found A Couple Small Ones ..the Metal Is Pretty Straight....i Like Fab Work More Than Body Work..im Working On Getting The Exterior All Ready For Paint. Then Kick Hard On The Fab Stuff....the Fun Stuff!!

hey guys

my puppy ate my cord that plugs into the camera and computer...so i have no pics at the momment......
drivers fender and door and trunk lid now have primer on them.....
around the front and rear window channels is pretty much done & primed....
i know its not BIG BUT ITS PROGRESS......

GOT MY FUEL TANK IN TODAY...ITS A 67-8 CAMARO TANK. :thumbsup: .
I ORDERED IT BASED ON MEASUREMENTS.AND IT HAS FILLER THAT GOES THROUGH THE FLOOR. ILL USE THE FACTORY RAMBLER FILLER NECK THAT BOLTS TO THE TAIL PANEL CONNECTS TO TANK WITH RUBBER HOSE . FITS JUST LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR IT. :D ...ILL MAKE STRAP MOUNTS AND THATS THE SHORT STORY

hey guys

more sanding and priming this weekend...
sanded and primed the lower portion of the car ...rockers ,jambs..also tops and bottoms of the inner door where the door panel doesnt cover (factory painted black) ..just steady trying to get this stage done ..

anyway thats my update... "eating the elephant on bite at a time"
