Anyone in Phoenix?
 

Just moved here to Luke AFB and I am looking for some fellow car guys to hang with. I just hauled my 68 firebird 1400 miles and looking for a place to rent or buy.

i live in Fountain Hills and go to asu. there are tons of people in phoenix specially when a car show pops up.

SIR is a slippery track and when they call it a street tire night, with DR's even, expect 2.5+ 60' times. I even saw a nova with 235 bfg DR's, 3.0 sec 60'!!! I didn't know that was possible with a car. I can run that on Nikes or Adidas. So bring the stickiest meats you can if you run there.

Glendale checking in here. I know a few car guys at Luke.

For the local scene, there are a few car meets every weekend. 91st Ave and Northern on Friday nights. Indian Bend and the 101 (Pavilions) on Saturday night. There are smaller meets all over the Valley, but those two are pretty large. You'll meet plenty of people there.

Welcome to Phoenix! I live in east mesa and also have a 68 Firebird. I have been under the radar for a few years while Im finishing school at ASU but will be graduating in a few days. I cant wait to work on my car again. Ill keep watching your build thread, looks like fun.

welcome to Phoenix, got some friends out at luke. There is a local cruise night on Sat. at 83rd and Deer Valley in the Safeway Parking lot.

I live in north valley, but my car engine is shoot, so I been riding my ZZR6 for right now. Nice to have another person here.

Nice to have you out here, if you guys ever want to get together and cruise by our shop just let me know. We are in N Scottsdale.

yeah, his shop is insane! He puts out some Sick cars for sure. We'll have to cruise up there sometime.
