It's a wicked vette. You guys should see the 2 mustangs they are building. Oh my.

 Another very fine example of a GM/Chevrolet/Corvette timeless design. The LeMans road race cars are no less popular today then they were back in the day. This car flat out gets it done.

Awesome vette!

David Pozzi 12-21-2008 12:18 AM

Campbell Auto did a terrific job on that Vette!
I think that car could have laid us all to waste if the driver had more seat time to get used it. It's a beast! :hail:

I agree, it was the fastest car there, but Mark needs more seat time in it. It's also built for a guy with a long torso and 6'7. Mark is 6'0 at best.

What color blue is that? I love it.

srh3trinity 12-28-2008 10:19 PM

What a wonderful combination of form and function. Beautiful car and great color choice. It's cool to know that it works so well too.

kp.touring 12-29-2008 12:44 AM

Mike I'll give my standard car show answer to the color, Blue. Well that is the wish guy showing. The correct short answer is it is a custom mix, not really based on any car color per say. The project was slated from the beginning to be red, white and blue so we flipped the blue and the white that was used a lot back in 69.

I sat in it at the OPTIMA Challenge and could easily reach the pedals but all I saw out the front was gauges ... I'm 5'7". Where are those phone books, aka pillows, when we need 'em  ??

Mary,
Just thing how you would of fit in the car without the 3.5" back rest incert I made just to fit Mark in the car. Also if Tom and Mark would have remembered to bring the other seat cushions we could got you to where you could look over the dash, but not the hood!!! One the thing I did was to build different hieght seat cushions for the driver's seat and even with Scott being about an inch to 2 inches taller than me he needs the taller cushions, the guy is all legs, every car car we do for him we move the seat back.
