Fesler needs parts so lets see what everyone wants

OK we started a new thread on our post to see what is hot, we are looking for more parts to make not that we dont have enough but we get a ton of emails all the time on parts to make.

Post up what you are looking for so we can start a list with priority on waht you guys want. The more parts request we get the faster we will make that part.

We also need stock parts, not remanufactured parts but stock OEM parts to build from. If you guys have parts and we dont already have them and you send them to us you will get the first set at cost. Let me know what you have and what you might be intersted in.

You must contact us before sending anything to us

thanks

2nd gen camaro's are getting more and more popular. I would like to see a replacement cowl screen, kinda like your door jamb vents. you had said in another thread that you are working on door sills, that would be cool also.

This isn't billet but It would be nice to see a cool close off plate made that covers the spot in front of the radiator support for second gen's also. maby something that folow's the contours of the hood latch but with something extra to make it look cool. There are other products like this out there but they are just a flat sheet.

Chris, how good do they have to be? These are original but a little 'bumpy' from the traditional pitting. If these would help I'd be glad to send them to you.

X2 - The flimsy plastic factory cowl screen is one of the ugliest parts on a second gen.

QUICK6 12-17-2008 09:45 AM

How about some tail lights for the 75-79 nova.I have a set I could send out?

tony byram 12-17-2008 05:21 PM

Agreed the cheap plastic cowl screen is crappy, a billet screen would be great and the cover ahead of the radiator, between the header and radiator is a GREAT idea! Check out the one that Kyle Tucker owner of Detroit Speed and Eng. built for his blue 1970 test Camaro, some thing along those lines would be great! It may even fit second gen Firebirds as well! It would serve to direct air flow into the radiator as well as make that area look ALOT better. Billet alum door inserts are a thought too... Hope you make some of these Chris, You guys make some beautiful stuff as well as Beautiful cars. Love that bad and black 69 that you guys built! The finish was just outstanding! Tony:thumbsup:

PM Sent. I hope I didn't overload you with ideas.

Gordz32 12-20-2008 11:52 AM

Radlark 12-20-2008 01:14 PM

ANYTHING for the B-body cars

NOBODY makes anything for these cars and I would like to see anything like a custom dash, billet ac vents, ANYTHING........I know its a long shot! Preferably 1969 Impala's

BBC69Camaro 12-20-2008 02:37 PM

Billet ram/cold air induction box/kit, especially something to pull in cold air from a cowl hood as well as from the fenders.

X2! I was looking into having these made like the OEM version, so these would be awesome! Door handles as well as previously mentioned, that fit the stock mounting points. Thanks-

zoomiefoosh 12-23-2008 11:38 AM

Reverse lights?

How about some billet '69 Camaro RS reverse lights?

fesler 12-24-2008 06:37 AM

Lots of good stuff here, we are working on some of this now and will have it out very soon, some good new ideas here and what I might do is figure out a way to creat a poll on some of this stuff so I can see how many people want stuff. I have to have numbers to creat most of it.

Keep the ideas coming and we will figure them out as we can. We just ordered another machine so we will have 3 in house machines building parts with 2 shifts running.

This will cut down on any BO stuff huge even though most of our BO is only 7 days at most.

Perry Mitchell 12-24-2008 09:09 AM

Chris, has anyone requested turn signals/park lights for the 67 Camaro with standard grill yet?

jy211 12-24-2008 09:17 AM

tow hook/tie down hook of some sort :D

Weldon0405 12-24-2008 07:49 PM

X2 on the door handles.

brans72 12-26-2008 07:09 PM

chevelle parts

DFRESH 12-28-2008 08:14 PM

Chris, how about the passenger OMG grab handle and the huge plastic piece behind it just above the glove box door on 69's--not sure if this was an option on 7's or 8's. The plastic plate behind it that runs along the length of the dash could be done in carbon fiber with a beveled edge, with a brushed billit "Camaro" emblem or just reuse the stock one---then the handle could be done in maybe a round stock aluminum--also brushed. You could do many combos. I've started it in the drag car (used an aluminum piece behind the handle and polished it), but would love to see someone with skills do it and offer combos for it. I'd love to see the carbon fiber look. If you would like pics of my job on the race car, let me know--but I think you get the idea--seems like it would be fairly easy to do and have lots of different combinations. I'd purchase from you right away for the new pro touring project I have going. It was great to meet you at SEMA.

Doug

Exterior Mirrors

How about a set of exterior mirrors?
Sympathetic to 68/69 square style with modern touch. Housing with mirror mounted internally. I'm very much in to that stock look with modern functionality. The originals I have found tend to be hard to see out of at speed due to wind buffeting and come loose over time.
Could also do a version with 3/4 "cap" in carbon fibre or painted for those want a more modern look.
This is now really only 1 of 2 items I can't seem to find something I really like (dash gauges are other) for my 68 convertible. I feel like I've looked at everything suitable I can think of over the last 5 odd years, but feel either too "pointy" (2nd gen sports) or the modern ones are too curvy with a bulky base.
I notice the Fesler, Foose & Ring Brother Camaros do not have exterior mirrors.
I can live with out remote adjustment as I'm the only one that will drive it
If anyone knows of mirrors that may fit what I'm looking for please chime in.
