Photo Shoot - Cyber Gray Z06 & Viper Coupe

It finally stopped raining in the Houston area, so I ventured out today and snapped some photos of my 2009 Z06. I recently put on the HRE 893R wheels. They are color-matched to cyber gray, and have a silver pinstripe on the lip. They came out a shade darker, but look very close in direct sunlight. 19x10 fronts with 285 tires, 20x12.5 rears with 345 tires. I went with Nitto Invo tires, same ones I have on my Viper. It makes an appearance in the last few photos.

Enjoy!
Tony

Very nice duo. I have always been a big fan of HRE's on almost anything. I really like the color of the Z06 too.

Very, Very Nice! Perfect look on the Z. (I would just lower it 1/2") Wheels are awesome. I love HRE. Had some on a C5 Z I had. Awesome pics also. Man, I still want a Z so bad :willy: There are some smokin deals on them right now.

Nice shots Tony, the Z and Viper look sick. So do you have any relation to SW?

buickfunnycar.com 12-22-2008 02:03 PM

Except for those ugly state inspection stickers on the windshield, that Z06 is sick with a capitol "S"...:hail:

Same racing team. Ever heard of "Team SW and AW" (my name is Anthony)

I just wish I lived closer to SW, so I could swap cars with him on a regular basis. :unibrow:

Tony, Anthony, or Nineball,
Has one hell of an eye for detail.

WOW!! :wow: !! You have an incredible eye to know how to pick out wheels, they are just sick on the Z. Your photos look like magazine shots from Car and Driver, simply AWESOME!! The outside shot of the firehouse is my favorite. Travis

OK...did you use the Chevelle as the camera car?:_paranoid

tones2SS 12-23-2008 09:21 AM

SICKNESS MY FRIEND, SICKNESS!!!
LOVE THE Z!
Now, is that stock height on the Z, or is it lowered slightly?
What are your thoughts on the Nitto's compared to the Goodyears as far as ride comfort/noise/handling?
THANKS!! Nice cars.

Yessir. You can see it in the reflection of the rolling shot. I was actually shooting a magazine feature on the Chevelle that day, brought the Z06 along with us.

tones, the Z06 is lowered all the way down on the stock bolts. About an inch. Invos ride better than run-flat tires for sure. They also handle better, and work better in the rain as well. Neither had much road noise.

Moose 12-24-2008 04:20 AM

So jealous!!!
