New Parts Installed on the EVS Culture Shock Camaro
Just wanted to share some new pictures of the new parts installed; full carbon fiber parts, upgraded 6 piston brakes, etc.
Video clip for those you haven't already seen it. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E...2JZ_195979.htm http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...wparts/014.jpg http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...wparts/015.jpg http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...wparts/016.jpg http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...wparts/017.jpg |

love the name!!! it fits it so well.
looks awsome thats for sure, imo it need a CF header panel if your gonna keep it all exposed. i like the new wheels but think to really set them off a red pinstripe on the lips will be AWESOME! |
Ted, great name. How appropriate! :D
And I really like the carbon fiber hood and spoiler elements. I was considering myself doing a whole hood in black and have been looking around for examples. Your pics save me having to do a new rendering! :) But seriously, it looks great with the mods you have done. |
love the brakes and wheels, paint the hood and trunk leaving stripes in exposed carbon, full carbon panels don't look right to me,they need body color on them

Your black Lambo is sic. I can appreicate your camaro but not really for me. But i will say great craftmanship.
|
im sure it will make the wheel pop much especially in lower light contitions... but its cheap to try, i mean a roll of red pinstripe tape from any crap autostore and 4 minutes of taping will provide a definate answer....
Not that im ready to break out the checkbook right now.... but what is the ballpark figure to take this car off your hands? just out of curiosity? just watched the vid again.... damn thats a narrow powerband, it seems to come on at 5000 rpm, at wich time the car gets sideways and the gets shortshifted.... must be a beast to drive |

The pinstripe that I do on my wheels are always done by paint pinstriping. I'll try out the tape method to judge it. Thanks for the idea. |
It's a very impressive build and clearly a ton of time and thought went into the car. I'm not sold on your wheel change at least not in it's current form. With the chrome bumpers and trim I liked it better with the other wheels. Now shed the front bumper and black out some trim then we are talking.:D
|
I like the CF parts and the car name. I think it would look sweet with painted and exposed CF stripes.
Plus here is an example of a red vette with pinstripe on the black wheels. Just gives a little definition on the wheels: http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r...7/DSC_0181.jpg |
I really like the looks of this car. The red and black really make this look killer. It looks like the quality is good as well, but that damn engine is just not right for me personally. But it is a beautiful car IMHO.

i too prefered the old wheel with the way the car is now... but yea if you pull the front bumper and if you PC some of the chrome a dark color it will all flow that much better. you got a supra motor in you 67!!!!!!!!! and you worried pin stripes would be too euro? haha you 67 might have been born a muscle car but its screams exotic to me! make no doubt about it, I LOVE YOUR CAR! you did a hell of a job and that int is amazing! |
Popular opinion says to remove the front bumpers. Well here you go. I'll throw in a before and after shot for comparison.
Before http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...m2jz01/088.jpg After http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...emoved/002.jpg I said earlier that I had a big ass intercooler on CS (Culture Shock), well it is a big ass intercooler that hangs down through the two vents on the front air dam. Do you guys think it looks ackward seeing the intercooler through the vents with the front bumper removed? With the front bumper on it wasn't noticeable. http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...emoved/008.jpg http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...emoved/006.jpg http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...emoved/005.jpg |
Here is a picture showing how thick the intercooler is, it sticks out of the front air dam.
http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...emoved/001.jpg |
Here is a before and after of it blacked out.
Before http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...emoved/008.jpg After http://www.evsmotors.com/vehicleinve...kedout/001.jpg |
much better blacked out without the bumper, make some nice billet inserts for the vents and powdercoat or anodize them black,
|
To me the big ass square turn signals kill it. Shave those and make the opening just a bit smaller vertically so you don't it above the bumper.
|
One more variation with the lower part of the intercooler sprayed black. I think this looks the best.

Looks great! I'd just spray the IC and tubing black.....and I have to say I'm with Rodger...a standard valance would look better.
What did you use to paint all the trim? I think this is one car that would look killer with the flush mount glass kit! |

See we already went though this on rich's camaro

Awesome pictures. That's some great eye candy. I don't know which set of wheels I like better, they both look cool on the car.

photoshop a pinstripe on the wheels and the cf header panel also to see what they look like... you gonna run a CF front spoiler? |

What a cool build! I like odd motor swaps. It shows that fabrication is involved and it quickly shows what kind of person/shop built it. Well done! And just wanted to comment. The removal of the front bumper is like now you see the IC, now you don't. It makes it REALLY stand out. Cool if you like it, bad if you want a more subtle approach.
