68 grille in a 67? |
wasnt that thing supposed to be running a tank engine?
|
It's been talked about over at nastyz28.com before. I think the supercharger is for a tank, but I really don't know. I didn't really pay attention in class. Someone over there knows more about it though.

How the heck are you supposed to see where your going?? :_paranoid

Someone here said it already---the story behind it is told on one of Urban Hillbillies videos (Street Car Chaos) hosted by Brett Kepner (sp?). I just pulled it off the shelf and watched that part again--here's the skinny. The guys dad found it in a junk yard--it came from a train they think--they had the belt made for it (I guess Blower Shop didn't stock one in this size). They fired the car up and in his words "I blipped the throttle and it jerked the left front tire off the ground about an inch and immediately blew both head gaskets". "We never made a pass with it on the car, but that is in the works".
Maybe they are adding an intercooler, two dominators and the mailbox hoodscoop. If you really want to see the interview, I can force myself to figure out how to do it and post it here--but with my luck the guy from Urban Hillbilly will slap me with a copyright suit or something. |
