Most Radical G-body

I know I know, it may be overkill but Rodger & Trey got my mind going. I'm curious whats the most outrageous looking G-body? I've got a few ideas floating around in my head for my Malibu. Now if I could just hit the lotto I'd be set.

COYBILT 01-28-2009 12:19 AM

YAY something different then A COOKIE CUTTER 69 camaro

CRCRFT78 01-28-2009 12:22 AM

Yeah I've got some ideas I would love to see done but I'd like to see what everyone else has also. I too am getting a little tired of the usual Camaros, Chevelles & so on.

Hulley 01-28-2009 04:24 AM

If I didnt already have my 68' Chevelle, I would diffenitly do a G body. I'd love to have a 87' Olds 442, or a 78-81 Malibu.

deuce_454 01-28-2009 06:43 AM

i have seen a couple of IRS g-bodys.. and ive been doing some designing on an AWD system with marcus from SC&C...

If you were to make some carbon parts id be game btw...

WWHOOOAAA!!!!
Whose car is that Pete?!?:_paranoid :wow:

WSSix 01-29-2009 06:17 PM

well the most radical to me would be the GN that was built to run unlimited class at the Silver State Challenge. I don't know the name but Huntimer had it in his Pro-Touring book. That car was all business but damn was it cool.

rking 01-29-2009 10:07 PM

That was Stan Davis' car. Awesome GBody, had a 3 link in it to IIRC...

Wish there was more info on it floating around because Im currently designing a 3 link for my GN, and I want his tire and wheel combo tucked like he had...

CRCRFT78 03-22-2009 12:22 PM

Any more? Does anyone have any pics of the silver GN/T-type with the Cutlass frontend on it?

RobG 03-23-2009 03:53 PM

Jim Lauer's '87 turbo Buick...

http://www.gmhightechperformance.com.../photo_01.html

The car is under new ownership here in the midwest somewhere. Outstanding build quality :hail:

GBodyGMachine 03-24-2009 06:52 PM

There are some over on turbobuick/forums. And some real cool stuff on LSX forums.

I always thought it would be cool to have an AWD setup

BanditDave 03-24-2009 08:37 PM

Here's my G-body. Currently all drag but will be getting the full pro-touring treatment once my TA is road worthy.

I need some inspiration to get off my arse and work on the Malibu. Anyone got anymore pics of some radical, slammed or just plain badass g-bodies?

rking 09-29-2009 06:52 PM

Ok, so I know that these arent all the "most radical" Gbodys out there, but IMO, these are some of the best put together ones I have ever seen and they are always motivation to get back to work on mine...

(If one of these cars is yours, congrats, I love your car! I hope that you dont mind me posting pics of it :hail: ...)

Thats an old one but still a VERY NICE MCSS. I love the duct work on the QPs for the brakes.

Not sure if mine would be considered "Radical" but it sure is "Functional" ...

Complete DSE suspension, CCW 3-piece wheels, Turbocharged, methanol injected, Digital LED tail lights, Custom interior...

Some sweet G-Bodies!

G-Body 10-26-2010 09:27 PM

Local engine builder here in ohio owns this and it is an ass kicker.
small cube SB 700 plus hp car sounds like a pro stock car shakes the ground you walk on.
And details for days crazy nice.
