70 Cuda
I figured I would start a new thread instead of adding to the old one. Were more into the project. So it will have a small block of some sort up to 440 ci w/ 600 plus hp on E 85 w/ N.O.S. Backed buy a brand new 6 speed out of a challenger srt 8. Modified XV suspension front and rear. 19 inch HRE's on 345/35/19 and 255/35/19, 15 inch 6 piston Bear's all the way around. Flush fit front and rear windows, scratch built fire wall and cowl. The rear will be mini tubbed w/ a Moser back braced 8 3/4 rear and a hole lot more mods. So stay tuned for pics. I promise !!!!!
P.S. I need to figure out how to use my new camera. Can't figure out how to down size the pic to down load it to the computer.? Anyone PM me with help |

Got some more pics. Finally figured out how to format the pics to up load. Scott and everyone else thanks for the help last time.
So back to the project. Still taking more off the car. Removed a section of the rear frame rail for more tire clearance. Also test fit the new side panel and started to make a new lip for the inner fender well lip. Stay tunned. |

Hi, Nice build! I have also purcased a XV Level II front suspension. I understand that you'll need a different oilpan and modified headers when using a small block. I haven't got mine yet. Do you know if you need a center sump or a rear sump pan? Or maybe some custom job?

Mark,
Looks like you are a great cardboard-cutter-outer! All, I saw this car last week at Mark's shop. It looks even better in person. --Eric |

You know cardboard is lighter then steel.
So when are we going to cut out those rails? |
Nice work!
I have to say - damn you have a serious collection of vise-grips and clamps. That slat wall works pretty good for tool organization too. I'll have to keep that in mind. |

I told you to not let the cat out of the bag. Just don't tell anyone about my new welder that can weld the two together. Lincoln 250 Card-Board-O-Matic w/ pulse option. I think these rails I'm cutting in-house. To simple !! |
Man I thought I was the only one who had one of those machine. Roger how much heat do you used on the green tape wire?:willy: :willy:
|
Finally a couple more pics. Got the pass. frame rail, exhaust cut out, and front arm pocket done. All this cause the customer wanted side exhaust. So I had to figure out how to make this thing into a brick house and still let the exhaust out the side.
|
Very cool and Clean man  Did you try to talk him out of the side exhaust?
|
niiiiiice. Gonna be a killer Cuda
|
Mark - looking really nice.

That is real nice work bench decoration in the back ground of the first pic. In 2 months I would have thought you might have gotten farther then that.
Come on buddy. :D :D |

Besides I like work bench decorations!! |
Hell, I thought Mark was trying to make the Truck frame-clip fit into the Cuda!
