Rad Rides 56 Chrysler/Viper Pics inside Incredible!!
This is the current big $$$$ project at rad rides. They have to finish this by the middle of feb for the world of wheels in Wisconsin. I spent some time at the shop talking to Troy about this car and he so elegantly put it this way.
"With the nova, you know you're screwed. That thing just looks mean and the noise it makes gives its attitude away. The deal with the '56 Chrysler is that it tucks you into bed and then tea-bags your ass!" Seriously this car is incredible. They chopped up a late model dodge viper that had been in a wreck and used all of its suspension and some of the rear end drive train. Then they found a 56 Chrysler 300 and grafted it to the viper stuff. Pretty much everything else on the car is one off. Running a nextel cup motor with twin turbos in the fenders. Best part is that its being built for this sweet lady named Nancy! Enjoy! Started the same week as our nova. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ysler/115L.jpg Wrecked viper..guy went in a ditch and flipped it. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ysler/047L.jpg visit to the shop in sept. with some friends http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...r/DSC06386.jpg Primer http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...2-10-08043.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...2-10-08057.jpg |

I have to admit I like the frame without paint, much better.

That car is going to be over the top. The frame is truly a work of art. I read that it is going to get a set of one off custom Dayton wire wheels.

Most of you may not realize how hard this crew of guys work.
Here is the car on Dec 27 and no they haven't even started working on the frame yet. ps - most of the guys had only taken Christmas Day off for the entire month of January and they probably still haven't taken a day off since. Did i mention most of the time they were doing 16 to 20 hour days. These are some of the hardest working car guy's you will ever meet. http://garagescene.net/gallery2/d/20...+Rides+103.JPG http://garagescene.net/gallery2/d/20...+Rides+104.JPG http://garagescene.net/gallery2/d/20...+Rides+108.JPG http://garagescene.net/gallery2/d/20...+Rides+115.JPG |

Owner lives here in Milwaukee area so that is the push for Milwaukee World of Wheels. This is for the wife of the guy who owns the gray 32 that Troy built five or six years ago. |

Thats right, i was on the petersen museum in november the sunday before SEMA and there it was. The owner (that has appeared on Rides with the sniper) died and the sniper and one more car of his was donated to the Petersen Museum. |

Depending on what showed up, a car like this could take the Ridler. I love this thing! |
