Vote on paint color!

Have it narrowed down to three shades of copper

Let's take a vote to see which shade is the most popular! (Poll located above this post)

Will it be.......Door #1, Door #2, Or Door....Number....Three???

Its tough, they seem different in the lights of each picture. But I still voted.

I voted for #1 as it has the most pop.

the 2nd is good...lil too orange for me
the 3rd would be my choice if i only had the 3 to choose from

I've gone for #2, not too gold, not too copper & has a redish tinge to it. Really you gotta remember that it'll look totally different on the WHOLE car. What looks right on a small swatch can look overkill on a larger scale. It will change drastically in different light, pick the colour that looks right in the light you'll see it most often. Some colours look great in sunlight & crap in overcast weather. Also, & most importantly, colour is a very personal thing & YOU have to live with it, people can advise you but remember they all have their own opinions in what's right (for them). Best of luck in choosing, but do what's right for YOU.

Thanks Evilzee, yes, I am well aware of the considerations that you have mentioned. When I get a chance I will shoot a panel or two with some of these colors. One thing I neglected to mention is that I am considering stripes for this car, maybe Z/28 "bandaid" stripes or D90 "hockey stick" stripes, in black. I already have a favorite among these three, just looking for some general feedback, and I know the folks here like this kind of thing...a little diversion, if nothing else...

I voted for #1, Rob.

i already voted for #3 but if your adding stripes, how about a kandy #1 stripe over the #3

race-rodz 09-19-2005 04:30 PM

well stripes change my answer.... black stripes would look best on #1, or the #1 stripe on #3 would be cool too

Thanks guys for all the comments and suggestions. I am leaning strongly toward #1, with black D90 stripe...We'll see!!!

Like some of the others I said #3 at first, but when you through in the black stripe..That's a different story. I would do to a lighter shade towards #1. It would make it pop a little more. My neighbor just bought a C6 that is Daytona Sunkists Orange that looks awesome!! I'm a fan of the Hockey Stripe. Not sure if you are going ot run it or not, but that shade of color would look great with all the factory chrome i.e. wheel well mldgs etc. Either way...the car will look great.
