I'm anxiously awaiting the release on the valance, along with the deck lid hinges and dash! I did notice the hinges on their website, but they are still showing sold out...

It is an awesome part and follows the body perfect.. If you have ever messed with body parts you know what a acomplishment that is

Well, he said Goodguys Pleasanton, and that's next weekend. I'd call them after that to find out.

I talked to Judas today and they are planning on taking them to Goodguys next weekend. I am hoping to get one shipped next week, but may have to wait until after the show.

I want the sheetmetal version...... I wonder if Marquez would do one? If so, what do you think they would charge to do it ?

WOW!!! Looks good.
Good stuff. Way to go Marquez! |
Just received mine. Very nice piece!
Can someone post up a pic or instructions on the two mounting brackets? Also, Serpa69; I was wondering which bumper mounts did you use? Thanks! Ron |

Anyway, that little project will buy me some uninterrupted "Camaro" time on the weekends so I will be working on it again soon. I'm still waiting on the bumper brackets that MD is supposed to be sending and once I get them I should be able to finish everything and send it off to my painter. I'll update as progress is made. Me either. Still have to mock up front sheet metal. Also waiting on e from PM for some pics on how to clearance for the brackets. This is a great piece and I'll post up some pics when I get it mocked up... Next up will be a de-fanged bumper.

I was disappointed with my 69 front valance. First the courtesy light holes were too big for the stock bezels. Second it appeared that we would have to cut the front support brace just to get it to fit. Third, it didn't look like it would match up with my Endura bumper. Fourth it didn't come with any instructions on installation.
I will send it back at my own expense, but I would like to talk with them first. BUMMER |

First, I thought courtesy lights were on the inside of the car so you know where you where to put your feet when the door is open. This part fits on the front of the car. That might be part of your fitment issue. |
Valance fits great, here's a couple of pics after first mock up.

Looks great Ron
I'm past the mock-up stage and the front valance is now in line at the paint shop. :willy: I'm not sure what everyone else is doing, but I fabbed a small bracket that allows me to connect the new valance to the hood support just like the factory set-up. Not sure if it is/will be necessary, but I figured that a little extra bracing in this area would help eliminate any possibility of sag issues down the road. |

looks like you are clicking along pretty good..

Thanks! That's a great idea for a little extra support in the middle, I will probably do the same-

**thanks for the tip on this Chris  |
Thanks for sharing these tips in this forum-

Just remember to pull out the rubber isolators out of the mounts. This does two things it gets rid of the bounce and it pulls the bumper up to the body. But it is plenty strong. I have modifyed my existing bumper mounts to go on but I am not going to install them because I do not want to cut more holes in the valence. Also, its not like it is protecting the front end these were not five mile an hour bumpers

Its been awhile since I've checked this thread.
I've tried to contact Chris but we've played phone tag. Sorry Serpa for using the wrong terminology on the front valance lights or whatever they are-mine are both park and driving lights. I'm glad that EVERYONE else has one that fits, mine is far from fitting. It won't go. I'll try again today to contact Chris. |
