Super Deal on Twin Turbo ls3's

Well i'm going to try something i have never done before .With the economy the way it is and everybody be down on dough i'm going see if all the touring guys out there would be interested in a group purchase. In doing this i can greatly reduce the cost of these engines .I have an incredible engine weve been working on lately its a 376 cube all aluminum ls3 Twin turbo intercooled injected killer. This combination will make 800hp on pump gas and is as tame as anything you've ever driven but will scare you when you hit the pedal. This is not a crate engine with turbos bolted on its complete build from us.Its also a complete package including management, ignition wiring, some of our stainless headers, etc including dynoing it.We have drop in kits for 69 camaro chevelles and g bodys. What I'm offering is if you can group 3 engines in a sale i can offer this entire package at 19995.00.I fiqure its a way for everybody to win at a time like this if you were thinking about a purchase of this sort .Thanks Tom Nelson www.nelsonracingengines.com http://nelsonracingengines.com/09photoshoot/ls3/3.jpg818-998-5593

That is fantastic. Incredible pricing and I'm sure the performance is great.

JamesJ 03-06-2009 09:52 PM

Would you do one without the turbos? If so what would power come in around (pump gas)

deuce_454 03-07-2009 09:43 AM

i want one... now if somone would just buy my 32 roadster id have the cash :-)

seriously: Are they dynoed individually.. we have 95 octane on pump here...

Tom -

sick, sick, sick...

You must have read my mind. Remember what I asked you last time I was at your shop? I will take one for the new car. The car will be one of the first ones in Florida and is supposed to be here within 3 weeks.

Also, if you can use some of your horsepower charm (lol) we should be able to convince Mark to get one for his Impala SS. We are going to be back out by your place in a month or so, so if there is anyway you can give him a copilot ride in one of you TT vehicles, I think it would be a sale. That would be 2 sold. Whaddya think ?

WOW!!! You guys are TOP-NOTCH!! If I had my 69 Camaro, I would be putting a deposit on one right now. That is a KILLER price.
When you say pump gas, what octane are you referring to? I have 91 in my area.
Keep up the great work.

Is that complete as shown? with polished sheetmetal intake, accessories, pan, valve covers. What is delivery time frame from time of order? This will be our first turbo install. Can you walk us thru intercooler and other related purchases? Can you supply a comprehensive EFI map with part throttle, cold start, etc. or is it just WOT dyno map. App is 3000 lb 68 Camaro.

Give up the goods, Steve.

There's a new car in the works, but we don't like to give details this early in the process. We'll spill the beans in 90 to 120 days once it's a roller.

No The accesories, sheetmetal intake and polish are extra. But i can offer you the same deal as bruce for 1400 extra i'll throw in the intake acc are another 1300 its a f-body drive setup and the polish would be around 800 if you wanted to go that route so 23500.00 would get you it just like you see it but its a all aluminum block and heads the shot is with a iron block.Delivery time is 2.5 months from time of order.I would be glad to walk you threw any part of it.The map i do on the dyno is wide open then from there we have a mapping feature on the dyno were we run 10%tps up to 6300 rpm adjust all the afrs then 20 % adjust afrs then 30/40/50 and so on so the base map will be very nice. But there are so cold start and light load accerations you simply can't get on a dyno that has to be done in the car.If the cars an auto it probally won't need any tweeking.Stick cars with light flywheels may take some adjusting. There would be mutiple ways to accomplish this. The software is very easy its Electromotive newest version a total remake from the previous 3.56 So i can walk you threw that on the phone when your ready,Or if you don't want to deal with it you could always ship the car when ready and i'll do that for you here.Shipping is very affordable these days averaging around 1k one way from pretty much anywhere. But it's pretty simple. The changes can be made on fly and the ve table is highlighted in what cell your running so you can drive the car and instantly see whats happening.Thats the beauty of this package is it has a nice stand alone unit that comes with it.If you have any other questions i would be glad to answer them thanks Tom.

clill 03-11-2009 09:19 AM

So is the engine pictured at the beginning of this ad 19,995.00 or 23,500.00 ?

Steve Chryssos 03-11-2009 10:11 AM

$23500. Stop doodling in your notebook, put down that car magazine, and pay attention to the teacher or you'll be sent to detention.

19,995 +1,400 + 1,300 + 800 = picture. Carry the two.

Steve Chryssos 03-11-2009 10:12 AM

Sorry actually 23,495

JamesJ 03-11-2009 10:48 AM

... and the one in the first picture has a steel block, the one you get has an aluminum.....

Speedster 03-11-2009 12:15 PM

... make sure you ask for a T-Shirt with your engine. Tom is tight with those shirts, but he'll give it up for a motor...:willy:

ChevyThunder 03-13-2009 03:59 AM

I am interested !

TOM NELSON 03-20-2009 10:29 AM

Thank You Guys

Well This was the first time i ever offered a group purchase on engines and i think it worked out great I'm happy to say that i sold the three engines needed and will be able to provide the engines for 19995.00.The coolest thing about this was this was posted on many other boards but all three sales came from lateral-g members. And all three customers took the savings of 6000 dollars per engine and upgraded into bomb proof bottom ends all three guys got the Lsx iron gm block upgrade,Oliver billet rods,Callies crankshaft. And are going into my new billet crossram Ir intake manifold for the ls And they are still under the original price price of 26000.00.I'm going to do a full build pics threw the entire process including dynoing and video for everyone so you guys can see what goes into it.Just wanted to say thanks and i'll keep you updated as we go there still is probally another week for any of you who might have been interested to get in on this run and get the savings Talk to you soon Tom
