These two are being merged together very shortly...fun project.

Unfortunately, the Z is dead, HPVO has been disbanded and all the staff have been moved to other projects at GM.

Glad to see them come out finally....too bad the design/styling is already stale.:rolleyes:

when should they be hitting the dealers? I wonder how much the dealers will be marking these up! :question:

I have a date with them on the 19-20th in San Diego.

GM invited me down to drive the RS and SS versions for the day. I will be sure to post a report :)

The 'regular' production starts this Monday, 3/16. All of the cars in the picture are Captive Test Fleet (CTF) vehicles - media and dealer demos, not saleable to the public.

They should start hitting the very first dealerships in about 2 weeks.

Markups are based on the dealer. There are a bunch that sold at MSRP for pre-orders.

I ordered a Black 2SS/RS 6 spd on the first day (Oct 13) they accepted orders, Hopefully I will get mine fairly early as they start sending them out to dealers. I paid MSRP btw. My wife says this is "her" car.:unibrow:

No, we just get to drive them for the day... GM was going to give us (the mag) one, but that's up in the air with budgets and all.

Worse case is we find a local car and do some testing and tuning.. :)

Hey Scott, I ordered the car with the Cyber Gray stripes and I want to change the wheels to something with a Gray center. Something like a Forgeline WC3. Not a big fan of the wheels that come on the car. Hopefully some of the "wheel" guys on here have some info soon as far as backspacing and what we can get under these. I'll have to get one of these photoshop guys to put some wheels on and lower it a bit.
