Blackberry and Iphone users.
 

Wouldn't it be cool if Lateral-g had an application for the blackberry and Iphone so that when were bored at work we can access the website without waiting for all the non essential stuff to pop up. I would definitely put it to use...so what do you think Scott:thumbsup:....just an idea :lol:

What exactly do you mean? I have the T-mobile G1 from Google and I have full access as if I'm at home on my PC. All of the forums I belong too come up exactly as they look on my desktop at home.

He is saying he wants it to weed out all the crap. Iphone and Blackberry can pull up full sites, but it is kinda overwhelming on a phone..

But it is fine as long as I am in 3G.. Load times are fast and scrolling across the page is fine.

I'm still a little lost. What do you mean crap? I only get the site and nothing more. No pop-ups etc.

Crap would refer to unnecessary pictures that could slow load times.

well not necessarily crap but just a condensed version say I'm not getting good service it might take me 5 min to access something because the home page has 400 pictures to download.If you go to Google on your phone there is a Google mobile or yahoo mobile they condense things down to make access easier.

My Blackberry only seems ok on certain sites....this not be one of them:wow:

On the iphone, it doesn't seem to matter what content the site has, it will either be slow, or fast depending on service.

on vBB there is a forum skin option that will streamline the forum for mobile device use.

I just got a BB Storm and this site loads better than I thought. Nothing like being at home, but it's nice to have when your waiting at the Dentist or drive thru. The touch screen is still a little tricky for me.

i'm on a blackberry bold myself....overall it's not too bad but the pics do take a bit to get going especially if there's a lot. a condensed version would definitely be faster....especially since this site is my new crack. i find myself checking it several times a day.

It's ok on my Blackberry, but on my Ipod Touch, it's perfect.

site works and looks fine on my iphone

I'm on another site m5board.com and they have a dedicated mobile website at m.m5board.com. The mobile site only contains the threads but no pictures.

The nice things is that the site loads really fast and is much easier to navigate than the full version of the site.
