new Bonspeed's are on

New Bonspeed Huntington's are finally mounted up. 18x8 w/ 5" BS up front, 19x10 w/ 6.25" BS in the rear. Nitto 555's in 245/40ZR18 and 275/35ZR19. What a difference in the car's attitude vs. the 17" Budnik's I took off (and sold).

Tim and Jim at PRRC and Bill and Brad from Bonspeed were all fantastic to work with. The wheels were delivered at the promised leadtime and they look incredible. Jon at DriverzInc also had the best Nitto prices; I elected to pay a few bucks more to try to help out a local Michigan shop. Anyone on this forum would do themselves right to call any/all of those guys for your tire/wheel needs. Truly super people to work with.

Apologies for the crappy/quicky digital pics, they don't do them justice. Will try to take some better ones when I get a chance.

Bob,

That tire/wheel combo looks great !! Got to check it out at Baker's later this year. Looks like you nailed the stance with your Chevelle too !!

Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys. The stance is right where I wanted it but I may have to raise it 1/2" or so for just that little extra ground clearance to the passenger header. For some reason I can't see, the Hookers are quite a bit lower on that side.

RedRyder 04-26-2009 12:44 PM

pfff, headers. You can't mess with a stance like that.

Nah, I'm kidding, protect those headers.

By the way, I've always liked the Huntingtons. I'm looking at wheels right now for my car and I keep coming back to them everytime I see them on someone's car.

You have nailed the stance. Probably the hardest thing to do. Awesome.:hail:

You nailed it man! Looks awesome!

The look of your car was part of where the tire/wheel decision came from. Great look with the darker centers.
