2010 Camaro is here and worth the wait YES WE HAVE ONE and it is fun to drive
Well we have our first of 8 ordered cars and the build process starts, these will be fun cars once completed.
For the most part we like everything about them, they drive nice look good and have a very nice build quality. I am not sure about the radio but other then that great job GM. Now for the fun parts, body kits are in the works, engines are on the way, superchargers are on the way, suspensions are on the way, wheels are being built and of course the billet parts are being designed right now. Here are some shots of the very first one in our shop and we are taking orders now for the cars. We have 3 different versions of the Fesler Moss Camaro and will be doing a ton of testing at Bondurant in the next few weeks. Now this being the first one it has a V6 but we didnt care because we need it for the body panels but it has some serious power for a V6. We are going to work on a supercharger version for them as well. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...ss/Img0001.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...ss/Img0002.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...ss/Img0003.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...ss/Img0004.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...ss/Img0005.jpg |

The new Fesler FS914 22-wheels are on the way along with suspension and the new GM LS-9 for it. I will post up pics as the new stuff comes in.

I am looking forward to the changes you guys do to the car. You have put out some great products and cars in the past. I don't think we will be dissapointed. :woot:

I think the V6 would do great with a small twin turbo kit.
I wasn't a big fan when they came out with the new Camaro prototypes a few years back but it is growing on me. I might get a base V6 one when they start getting more readily available. Tonny |
There is one about 2 blocks from my house that I am going to try and test drive this weekend. It is black and I personally do not like the way they look in black. The silver and yellow ones look very good. I also still wish they would get rid of the horizontal 67 Camaro line that cuts the car in two but oh well. Maybe the next Camaro will delete that and lean toward a full 69 design. I was also surprised to see that it had 19" wheels. It also sits way too high. I figure if I drive in with a 69 Camaro I will hopefully have a pretty good chance to test drive it. Personally I still like the new Challenger better. Just too bad the new Challenger is soo heavy.
I will try to get a pic of my Camaro next to it just for fun. |
I think I see the paddle shift on that one...how well does that actually work?
The top dog SS can ge ordered with 21" rims! :hail: The only way they seem to pull this off is the HUGE ON LARGE fender well openings. Yes...they sit too high. I was thinking a killer body kit/mod would be to "EYE BROW" the fenders like a 69 and run the body line back - that and a more elongated rear lamp housing (69 also)...and that puppy would be finished. |

Car is amazingly fun in person. I drove a IOM 2SS/RS with orange interior last weekend and was surprised with how nice it was. I fear I like it more than I had thought I would. We will see if I try and get one.
Keep us updated on your builds as I'm sure they will be amazing! William |

Im a Chevy guy through and through but never own one of these. Even when a year goes by and you can get them for a 10,000 under orginal sticker. Hats off for brining it back but what a mess there in and made of these cars! |
I test drove one today, v-6 with a 6 speed auto (paddle shift worked nice!).... Surprisingly enough, the power felt great ! I am thinking of ordering one, but will have to get a v-8 and a manual trans...
Does anyone know how deep of a dish could be used on aftermarket wheels? I don't like the rims that are on it and really don't like wheels with little to no lip... Jason |

Chris
Thanks for taking me out for a spin in the Camaro. I haven't been a fan of the new Camaro, but seeing it in person and going for a ride, now it's starting to grow on me. The V6 hauls the mail too. The mustang guys are going to hate that. The V8 should be about right, but the 600hp will make me smile. Coilovers, 22's and a V8 with a supercharger, I think this is the making for a very reasonably priced muscle car. Thanks Mick |
