I think there's another website too, but I can't remember the URL off the top of my head.

We have been calling that car Joe Nova, kinda like Joe dirt. The floors on that car are perfect......

Joe Nova fits perfect

www.w2wpowertrain.com is our new site which I built when I hired in. Any of our old domain names should redirect.

Id love to see it. I have a question for Kevin. What's your time frame for an LS7 and what kind of power can you expect out of one normally aspirated? Is it worth it, or should I look at a modded up LS2?

Thanks
Mike

race-rodz 10-13-2005 12:47 AM

To be honest we haven't done too much with the LS7 platform as of yet but I am sure we can make just as much power as anyone else.

In the LS2 department we are just about done with a new line of crate engines which will be launched at Sema.

We have a 402 inch LS2 block engine in a couple different combinations.
The N/A version makes 550 hp and the boost ready versions will depend upon your power adder.

Nutsy 10-13-2005 08:09 PM

Do you have a booth at SEMA? IF so where is it at? I am very interested in the boost ready LS2's! :willy:

Trev

Kevin@w2w 10-14-2005 11:01 AM

We will be displaying at Sema:)

That is just one of our crate engines;)

We will offer some injected models as well as a few other options.

The carb model isn't too bad considering it made 550 and from carb to oil pan weighs in at 345 lbs.

trapin 10-25-2005 09:49 AM

Kevin....are these engine packages going to be available to view and research on your website following SEMA? If so....will there be pricing available such as there is for the Edelbrock engines? Or is it going to depend on the build? It would be nice to see a few engines on there that are advertised as already assembled and priced out-the-door.

All information will be available like the others. Engines will be broken in on our dyno and also in different levels right down to the rotating assembly.

Parts used have been tested on our dynos just like all the other parts we use.

We even hired in a new engine builder and set up a special area just for the crate engine program;)

We still do specific application builds depending on performance goals.

All information will be available next week once I get the ok to put it on the site.

550, N/A, with a carb! Ok, you have my attention.

What is the compression ratio on that thing, and how much vacuum does it pull?

chuntington 10-26-2005 06:19 AM

Hmmmmmmm, just imagine it with a set of throttle bodies on there!!! :)

or a pair of superchargers! opps, soory thats what you guys are going to be doing hehehe! :)

chris.

Compression ratios on the N/A motors will fall between 10.5 and 11.0 as far a vacuum I am not sure but the camshafts are not that radical so street driving shouldn't be too bad.

I'll see if I can get some vacuum numbers for you.

Kevin@w2w 11-07-2005 07:00 AM

Hey guys,

Here is the crate engine information I have thus far.

The boost ready version will be coming shortly.

Thanks again for the interest.

Outside my budget, but very very nice!
Looks like you guys used the best of everything.

Q-ship 11-10-2005 08:25 AM

350 pounds and 550 horse?

I think I just wet myself. Like True, I wish I could swing it.

mazspeed 11-10-2005 02:18 PM

Hey Kevin, do you have any thing yet for a fuel injected version of this motor, and what would be the differences in power and price?

Thanks in advance

Ken,

Here are the specs for the 550 hp turn key injected motor.
I haven't had a chance to get pics of yet hence the long block picture but all the specs are there.

Our boost ready version will be available shortly.
