Jackass and Power Tour pics

What a great car. Pics don't do the workmanship or presence any justice.

Both Scott's and Charlie's cars are gorgeous in person. I saw them both today. Pics just can't capture all the attention to detail.

69Nova 06-06-2009 08:39 PM

Jackass looks great. Random fact the two red Camaros are my friend's cars.

XcYZ 06-06-2009 09:04 PM

I would have taken more, but it started raining and I put the camera away and never it got it back out. I'll take a bunch more tomorrow.

Here you go, Rob.

I have roughly 700 photos from the autoX event. What the hell do I do with them all? :willy:

GregWeld 06-07-2009 06:36 AM

I agree with Fessler -- it would be so nice if they'd make a tour out on the BEST COAST (LOL) once in awhile. There's plenty of great cruising out here - the weather COULD be better - and there's certainly enough vendors to support etc.

Thanks for the great pics!

SRD Art 06-07-2009 06:46 AM

Fantastic pics, thanks for sharin'!

MaxHarvard 06-07-2009 07:23 AM

Here's the first batch of close to 700 i took out there :)

I'll get the rest posted here in a few days.

I shot every single car that went through the AutoX line. Some more than others, especially if they went through the line 50 times *cough cough RideTech!!! *cough* LOL

Thanks for posting Max and feeding hungry eyes here. :D

Nice work.

Steve1968LS2 06-07-2009 01:08 PM

Nice work on the photos Max.. sharp but still shows action.

Did you crop them or cut off part in the shot?

I see Kinan's car is done.. he's been riding my a$$ about it and how it's going to destroy me at the optima event. Looks pretty bad ass.

Wish I were there.. sigh...

What were the fast times at the auto-x?

waynieZ 06-07-2009 02:48 PM

Nice pictures . Thanks from those less fortunate..

Steve - Thanks for the compliments. I have to admit, the only one that is cropped is the last photo, the rest of the photos are straight off of my camera. :)

fast times were low 27's. An Atom showed up (i have photos) and blew everyone's doors off and it wasn't even trying that hard... you could tell he was barely getting on the throttle.

I got photos of EVERY single car that went through the AutoX, roughly 170 cars.

Very cool pics! Scott...Give Lillard and Tibor a (nice) hard time for me...:D

kochevy67 06-07-2009 07:35 PM

I agree they should have it out in Sunny Arizona, I was in Racine today and the wind was blowing right off the lake. It felt like early April. I would love to post the pics I should of took but my Dumba** took my memory card out of my camera and forgot to put it back in. Maybe somebody else can post the pics from Racine if they have any.

Did any of you guys see the Ring Bros. booth with the Razor in there. Those guys are pure craftsman, the interior is drop dead gorgeous.

...and super nice guys. Telly (black Cuda from autocross pics) introduced me to Mike and Jim Ring. Great guys, really down to earth.

It was great talking to you Scott. Have fun the rest of the way. Who is going to keep an eye on Charley when you go back home?
