Summer Projects....

I know I haven't been around here alot, but I have been busy with work and working on these projects. One is finished, other 2 are in process..

SW

1. My GT is completed. Twin-turboed.

http://www.fototime.com/8CCEC7A9AEC35CD/orig.jpg

2. M5 is under the knife at BMW. Getting the Dinan 630hp stroker installed. With the custom set of headers, should make 640+hp at the motor..

http://www.fototime.com/D2BFC01A01B9957/orig.jpg

3. New Challenger 6spd, picked it up last week. Tinted, Coilovers and exhaust already on, wheels will be here tomorrow, 440ci motor getting built right now. Motor should dyno 647hp. I know, it's a Dodge, but I kinda like it and yes, I got silver. I have a new 6spd SS RS Camaro(blk) that should be here around mid July. I may do a Magnuson blower to it..

That Ford GT is super awesome. I would trade most eveything I won for that car. But I doubt my big tall ass could fit in it to drive, but it would look good in my garage.

So..what else is in there to drive the other 4 days of the week?

Very nice collection, the GT is incredible. Sitting the Challenger down a bit definitely does a lot for it, too.

It made 850+rwh 721rwt on 93 and should make around 970 on 109.

Black corvette?

Is that a ZR1 or your Z06 with the side skirts and splitter.

Great looking set of projects!

Jr 06-10-2009 08:27 AM

Hey SW,
How big are the turbos? Did you keep the stock displacement on the Ford motor?

David

Roger M 06-10-2009 08:38 AM

Very impressive! Nice to see someone modding the new cars the right way.:hail:

What ever became of the SD Trans Am project? Do you still have it?

Do you still have the 69 Mustang?

The motor is completely stock. There are good stock to 1000 rwh from the factory. I have a set of 35Rs on it. I run 17.5 psi on 93.

It's coming slow as I have not pushed the guy. I have several buddies that want to buy it, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I sold the Mustang about a month ago to a good buddy of mine. I still get to see it anytime I want. I am trying to get into cars that I will drive and use more. I had the Mustang for 3 years and put 50 miles on it. I have driven it 100 miles since my buddy bought it, makes no sense. I was too worried about getting a chip on it or getting it dirty..

Stuart Adams 06-10-2009 09:20 AM

Awesome stuff SW. That GT sure pops.

Thanks for the update. Sorry to see you get rid of the Mustang, but it looks like you have enough to cover that loss. lol:thumbsup:

MAN, Do they work on the car in the kitchen or what? That is the same flooring I have in my kitchen. Must be some dealership.

I respect a guy who can take a very expensive new car to a shop and have it complete upgraded.

Before her current car my wife drove a couple Mercedes. First time I took one in for service I was very impressed with the service area. As clean and as tidy as could be. But one thing that really caught my attention was some sort of acoustical things hanging from the ceiling to block or absorb sounds between the different service bays. The ceiling had something on it as well.

BTW, beautiful cars. The work on that GT looks absolutely immaculate. And I bet that M5, when finished, could seriously suprise an awful lot of people on the streets.

customcam 06-10-2009 06:50 PM

you are the King of the Streets
SW post some pics of the Italian with the Monoblocks:yes:

markss28 06-10-2009 07:49 PM

SW,

lucky for you I live in south tx. I can drive to where ever you are at and test drive all your cars for you so you can get a nonbias opinion. Oh and my services are free. I will need 3 days with ever car.:unibrow: :unibrow: :unibrow:

The GT is both wicked and classy. Love the stance and wheels.

Thanks, yes the BMW dealer here in Austin is a 1st class operation. Of all my cars, the M5 is my favorite car to drive. I have had it about a year and she has about 6k on her now. I usually get tired of my daily driver in about a year, but I just can't get enough of the M5. It's a kick to drive, fast and the 7 speed SMG trans is unreal. It will hit the tires hard in 3rd gear with 4 people in it! With a extra 130+ hp and 120ft trq, it's going to be hard to beat on the street.

Vegas69 06-10-2009 10:46 PM

You like the M5 better than the ZR1 and Ford GT. Suprising. Ridiculous fleet of cars. I'd have to give you the nod over Leno. His collection is interesting but yours is the best of the best. If I had your money I'd tip a waiter with mine. What happended to that gorgeous Camaro?

awr68 06-10-2009 10:58 PM

Nice summer projects my friend!!

XcYZ 06-11-2009 05:26 AM

Wow, fantastic.

bentfab 06-11-2009 08:26 AM

Dood your collection is by far the best !!!!! I like your stlyle and taste. No certain make or model is good enough so you buy one of everything and put your touch on it. Just plane BAD A$$ !!!!! You are one privileged man my friend. I just bought a house and I'm stressing on the new monthly bill and then I stumble across this thread. Man does it hurt. Anyways good luck with all your new horsepower.

Jr 06-11-2009 08:33 AM

SW,
The turbos come on strong at low rpm... very nice!

How is the 69 camaro? Do you still drive it around?

Trey,

Work as hard as you can in school, go to college and study a profession that makes money... like business, stocks, investments ect.

Good luck,

Rich
