Finally an update.... Here's a couple pictures of the 64 Fairlane, Afterburner, that we are building for Ken & Ev Smith. Waiting for wheels yet.

michael ring 06-12-2009 04:08 PM

Yes they are. We had to play with the sizing to get them on .

XcYZ 06-12-2009 04:12 PM

Cool, great camera. :D I sent you some pics a little while ago.

Yep, I limit the attachment size to no more than 1024x768 and 160kb.

The Fairlane looks bad ass. Post up as many pics as you'd like.

Freakin Awesome!

I saw early stages of this on their website. It looks like they changed some things since they started, most notably the back bumper/diffuser.

Regardless, this is way cool. :hail:

NOVA 06-12-2009 06:39 PM

cool paint scheme, cant wait to see it with the door and fender and final wheels........ got a look at the bumper and huge exhaust awhile yet.
looks like it will have lots of power & torque!
more pics for sure!

Van B 06-12-2009 06:52 PM

Sounded like when Telly and I were talking to you guys that it would be ready for Columbus? I had been talking with Bruce at your trailer earlier in the day and he thought SEMA would be the debut.

customcam 06-12-2009 07:22 PM

Musclerodz 06-12-2009 11:16 PM

Holy Mary!!!!!!!! Sweet mother of Jesus. You guys have done it again. The Bible says nothing about Jesus having two brothers named Mike and Jim Ring. Hey....when you see him again, tell Jesus I said hi and pray for me to have a car like that one day.

mazspeed 06-13-2009 11:18 AM

Wow, just wow. You guys create some bad ass stuff. I'm not a fan of that year car, but i am a fan of that car. Incredible.

brans72 06-13-2009 04:09 PM

Small article in the new Hot Rod mag but it is very small in my opinion. Great job there guys!!!!!

J-440 06-13-2009 06:10 PM

Y'know, I see a multi-million dollar painting by Picasso and I don't get art. Hell I could do what he did, I still don't get it. But when I see a car sculpted the way ya'll do and other visionairies like Troy, Chip and Steve Strope...now that's art. Guys like you are what keeps the average "car guy" motivated to finish their own projects. Thanks for doing what the good Lord has giving you talent for. Ya'll be cool.

Steve1968LS2 06-13-2009 06:29 PM

Wow.. really stunning.. and best of all it's not a Camaro or Mustang!

What else is there to say? It's all been said in the earlier posts. Outstanding.
Without a doubt the coolest Fairlane to date. One touch I really like that I saw on your web site is the door handle treatment. Very cool.

F100Fastback 06-15-2009 07:22 PM

Car looks killer! Can't wait to see it when its done. It was nice talking with you up at GoodGuys Indy this past weekend Mike. My father and I are the ones who had the red 70 Fastback and appreciate you coming by and taking a look at it.

wiedemab 06-15-2009 07:40 PM

From the pics on your site, it looks like you the car has TCP front suspension - or at least R&P. What is the rear suspension. I want to say that I saw some pics that looked like an adaptation of a QuadraLink, but I could be way off.

Just curious in more tech specs on the car if they are able to be released.

Thanks
