Payback in Race Trim (Forgelines)

Frank at Prodigy Customs cut me a deal on these wheels and tires I just couldn't pass up. Scott Main at Forgeline is awesome to work with and I had my wheels and tires in under 30 days! These are the ZX3R racing wheels with titanium bolts. I lost over 10lbs per rear wheel and the front weigh the same even though they are 1.5 inches wider. I have to say I really love both looks. This makes the car look so sinister. Autocross tonight, so hopefully I can stick a little better in the corners with my new R888's. I can't wait to mat it tonight.:D

Now it's ridiculously sick looking

skatinjay27 06-13-2009 12:05 PM

i cant believe how much those wheels changed the look!!!!!!!!! its loks so evil and all business with the new wheels:unibrow:

but you got it reversed, jeckly is the good clean cut docter and hyde is the evil monster.lol

are the new rears tires a shorter tires than the ones on the 19s?

enzo 06-13-2009 12:24 PM

I don't post often - but I had to say that your car looks F'n PISSED!

camcojb 06-13-2009 12:25 PM

that looks great Todd. And yes, Scott at Forgeline and Frank at Prodigy are both great to work with.

Looks Awesome!! Hope everything else is sorted out.
Good Luck tonight!!

Flash68 06-13-2009 12:34 PM

awwww shiiiiiiiit Todd that looks sick. Cant decide which I like better. Nice choices on wheels man.

camaro2nv 06-13-2009 12:45 PM

The black wheels just do it. Good call. I wish more guys would realize this when building these cars. But then we wouldnt be different.

alctrztz 06-13-2009 01:46 PM

Very Nice!!!!!!!!!!

What size tires and rims?

I love the way your car looks. Makes me want to go out and build one myself. Then I will be looking at divorce papers. LOL..

Vegas69 06-13-2009 01:54 PM

Thanks boys:cheers: I'm stoked. The R888's are 275/35/18 fronts 25.7" and the rears are 335/30/18 26". The Pilots sports are 26" front and 27.4 rear. I still like the way the taller rear tire fills out the quarter panel. I figured if I was going to spend that kind of coin on a race set up, it better have two distinct attitudes. I'm going to clear bra behind the wheels soon so I can run either set on the street. She sure does look mean with the new wheels. The Boze's aren't going anywhere.

rjsjea 06-13-2009 02:07 PM

Love the look......those flat, satin or semi-gloss black centers??

G-Body 06-13-2009 06:39 PM

Changed the whole look! IMO for the worst, just to much black those first wheels looked so killer i like the tires but just dosen't work for me looks like everyone elses now.
Non the less great car absolute beauty just dosen't seem to be enough contrast.

70rs 06-13-2009 07:02 PM

Hey Todd, The car looks really good. The street wheels look great but the new ones look even better I think. The little bit of chrome on the body of the car is just enough to set it off right but not have a total blackout/monochrome look to it.
Good luck on th auto X tonight. Let us know how it goes.

jcal87 06-13-2009 07:09 PM

The black on black is sick:thumbsup:

Forgeline calls it matte black. I haven't changed the look of the car I've added another demension. The boze wheels are cuddled up nicely in my garage. They will spend plenty of time on the car as well.

WILWAXU 06-14-2009 02:25 AM

Sticks awesome! Track was really bumpy and coming apart. I can't wait to run it at the bullring and Nellis Air Force Base. Immaculate pavement and faster set ups. They definitely make the layout more technical for the night race. I needed about 250hp last night.

Autokraft 06-14-2009 08:30 PM

Damn Todd your grass is perfect:D Oh and the wheels r kick ass as well:hail:

Vegas69 06-14-2009 08:32 PM

You know me....post whore extrodinaire:D My Nikon was dead and I put a 3 minute charge in the camera to snap 6 pics running late for an appointment. Much better photos to come. I didn't think this change would be so popular.
