Speed Tech Road Trip

Hey everyone..
A couple of us from SpeedTech will be in the LA area for a couple of days later this month and are looking to visit a couple of shops and hopefully see some cool projects underway. Any ideas for us?
Tim

Take some pics for us Tim!!
And be safe out there.

Tell Blake to clear his inbox! Thanks:thumbsup:

 Please drive either one of the 69's down. Stop at my house on the way and just drop one off here. You can use my truck (better mpg ya know). I'll take real good care of the car. I'll even make sure the gas does not go bad from sitting. And make sure the tires don't get flat spots from sitting too.:D
Have a good trip guys! We need lots of pictures!

Best of Show Coachworks is in San Marcos - there might even be a '67 Camaro from the Great White North hanging around depending on when your going to be around.

Ironworks S&K in Bakersfield is an awesome stop and well worth a visit - Rodger has some really cool stuff on the go.

Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca Aug 15-16th, may be too early in the month for you though.

You will also be passing Bruning on the way in southern Wa. near Vancouver.
Tim is a great guy and if you have not seen the Challenger in person it's well worth a stop.

You could come by Best Of Show in San Marcos and say howdy! There's another cool shop up in Oxnard called JCG Restorations. Track Rat is there right now getting a secret project done.

On Saturday morning you should go to Cars And Coffee in Irvine CA and/or Donut Derelics in Huntington Beach CA.. both great places to check out cars.

Give us a call and stop on buy. We have a few cool projects. 818-701-6147

What days are you going to be here. If it's the end of the month we will also have two BAD A$$ 69's we will be plumbing then.

If it works out one of the cameros is coming from Chris at JCG. As a matter of fact we talked yesterday about it.

Depending on what you consider "LA area" you could check out http://www.cprstreetmachines.com/ in north east San Diego, always a few interesting things going on!

What is this "seinority" you speak of, and where can I get some?
(or...maybe I shouldn't be poking fun at the boss.....!)

Blake, Roger, Tim--Let me know if you guys are going to make it Cars and Coffee in Irvine or Derelics (yeah, that is the right name--lots of us just abbreviate it). I just finished putting your stuff on the car (purchased from Blake at SEMA) and would enjoy seeing you guys again. I'll bring the car down and you can bag on it--LOL. Hope to see you guys.

Doug

Blake Foster 08-06-2009 08:39 PM

that would be awesome Doug send Tim a pm and give him the details as i will not be comming down but you, tim and Roger should hook up for sure.

You could check out this Firebird in California, It is an awsome build in progress. Proud to say they decided to use my product instead of moding the body...

I believe the car is located in Hunington Beach. Real nice guys.

That Firebird is actually about a mile down the street from Best of Show. I saw it several times while my project was over there. That car is going to be wild. I'm guessing its really close to completion now too.

Gordz32 08-07-2009 09:43 PM

You guys are always welcome here at BOS. And were always there at the shop.
