It's ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like waiting to the last minute, the car goes into the trailer tommorrow headed to SEMA. Well, as of 30 minutes ago, it had never cranked. I have been so nervious all day in anticipation of it starting. First hit of the switch, she purrs like a kitten. Thank goodness, she lives. Now I don't have to push it into the show. :hail:
My hat is off the the guys at Street and Performance for getting it right the first time.
Look out, redneck headed to Vegas-LOL

race-rodz 10-25-2005 06:21 PM

i think last minute would actually be tryin to get it fired in the trailer on the way to vegas.

congrats..... now is it gonna get a "break-in" burnout now...or after sema

coolclassiccars 10-25-2005 06:46 PM

907rs 10-25-2005 06:47 PM

Thanks Tony, in fact I am walking out the door now to go load it in the trailer, get a couple new pictures, then load everything else up. We will pull out in the morning and be in Vegas Saturday late.
See everyone there at Steve's place Wednesday night. I will try and post where the car will be also once they place it, but Steveo will know if you find his booth.

It was well worth the wait William. I love the engine bay. I hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip. Enjoy the kudos while at SEMA.

Very sharp car!

i really dig the 2 toned engine comp to match the outside, cant wait to see more pics... especially some action shots

Bill Howell 10-31-2005 08:49 AM

We are placing the car in about 30 minutes at the show. Just found out it will be outside at the main entrance. Should be an easy find if anyone is looking for it.

Update: There are four cars backed up to the building at the main entrance doors to the show. Mine is the one on the left!

XcYZ 10-31-2005 08:54 AM

Cool, EVERYONE will see it there. That's where Brent's 57 Chevy, Ricochet, was parked when Don Garlitz did a feature on it. :)

Can't wait to see it, Bill.
