Back spacing (front)

Did you use the factory A/C bracket? And are you using vintage air? How far back did you have to cut the shifter hole from the original location? Thanks in Advance, nice to see your build. Great Job. P.S. Great machine work and I love what you did with the sub frame connectors. |

What back spacing did you do with this wheel and tire combo?
The front offset is 18x2.5 outer & 18x6.5 inner as I gave it to Forgeline.. I don't have it it on paper for the rear but will get it for you when I have the wheels off the next time.. Did you try a 275? No.. But I am sure it will work will max offset.. Did you use the factory A/C bracket? My machine shop made the brackets to mount the A/C compressor that was given to us by Vintage Air @ the time.. Now the have a smaller A/c compressor How far back did you have to cut the shifter hole from the original location? I wanna say about 2 inches.. Thanks in Advance, nice to see your build. Great Job. Thank you!! We try to come up with new cool things! |

Inner fender wells
This is what we have been up to this week! We finished modifying the front fenders & have been working on inner fender wells to get as much tire clearance as possible :D
http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC100019.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC100020.jpg |
Exhaust
We just got our exhaust system today! We had some pipe bent as close as we needed for the X-pipe & had some custom mufflers made.. Stay tuned for the cool tools we will be machined to help us with exhaust fabrication & exhaust hangers :unibrow:

Cool updates, This car rocks!
|
We just finished all the fender & inner fender well modifications!!! Here are some pics of the car sitting at the lowest stance we can get it with the way the suspension is set up.. It needs to be lower!!! what do you guys think?? :unibrow:
67 & 68 Camaros with Firebirds have a taper towards the front & rear, so we cut & pulled to square of the look but also gave us more room for the tall tires.. Hopefully you can see it on the pics! http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160025.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160026.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160031.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160033.jpg I call this our front mini-tub!! We modified the inner fender wells to attain the most tire clearance we could get.. http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160028.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160030.jpg http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/PC160029.jpg |
Very nice. I like the "front" mini tubs!!
