Heres mine...paint is coming off in chunks. Chrome is down to the copper in some areas...no worries...

patina allows a car to actually be driven as it was intended, without worry and sometimes like a jackass

I want to find a lettering guy to do a bunch of vintage trans am style lettering/signage on the car eventually to match my beat up paint.

Love this car, is it a fuelie as well?

Maybe we should coin a new term for this phenomenon of cars without $20k in paint.

Yep -- You can call them F U N! Because they get driven...

CHARLEY... That's a 5 star Bowtie car! Just not sure you want to hang out with that "bunch" to get it judged...

do you still have that low mileage original 1970 Camaro. Did that go across the auction block at Mecum, I think I saw it on tv this weekend.

clill 10-05-2009 11:37 AM

Yes I still have it. That wasn't my car at the auction.

I totally agree. There is nothing specific that jumps out at me to make it a cool car. It's just a very cool car overall. Looks like it might be fun to cruise around in.

Ever thought about buying a bra to protect that patina?

That Galaxie looks really cool like that! Too bad its so heavy or it could be a "dare to be different" track beater.
